Book readers with annotation support

Is there an android book reader with written annotations like NeoReader has, but with a ui that's not so bare bones?

I mean, I like reading and annotating in NeoReader, but I can never find anything in the mess that is the ui. Impossible. It's also not possible to sync progress since it's only available on Onyx devices.

Is there such an app? I've looked for ages but never found anything.

Note Air 5C booting forever

My Note Air 5C will not boot, it stays on the menu with the dots filling up until the battery is flat. I've tried what I think it a soft reset (holding the power button until the boox logo appears and pressing it once again), I've tried letting it go flat and charging it again, it just won't boot at all.

How do I proceed from here, because there seems to be no official documentation on this??

Bit of a different topic this one. No "what should my next dap be" here. I'd say more like the opposite.

I find myself drawn to the Snowsky Echo, especially the newer one with better build quality. Problem is, I really don't need it. If I want usability and versatility, I have a Hiby R6 III. It does everything I can throw at it. If that's a bit too clunky, I have a Shanling M0 Pro which can literally fit in my mouth with ease. I even have a Fiio QX13 if I want good sound out of a different device. All my bases are covered.

The things I enjoy about DAP's are the precise things missing on the Echo (good UI, button design, sytemwide EQ), but I still want one anyway! How do you deal with this? Do you give in? Do you distract yourself? What's the key?
