my son wants to fish but i have no idea where to start

My 10 year old son has been begging me to take him fishing, but the problem is I do not actually know how to fish myself. Getting the equipment will not be hard since there are plenty of options from premium gear to budget friendly stuff on Amazon, AliExpress, Alibaba, and similar sites.

The real challenge is learning the skill. I would love for us to learn together instead of me pretending I know what I am doing.

Can any dads recommend child friendly YouTube channels that teach fishing basics in a simple, beginner friendly way? Looking for channels that would be fun and easy for both me and my son to watch together.

budget replacement parts for a small print farm

I run a small print farm with about ten printers running daily. Right now, two of my printers are not working and need replacement parts. I do not really have a set budget for OEM parts, so I am considering more affordable generic options instead.

I have already seen some options on Amazon and Chinese marketplaces like Alibaba, but I am nervous about the quality and reliability. Has anyone here used budget replacement parts for farm printers?

I would appreciate any advice or recommendations on what parts are safe to buy generic and which ones are better to keep OEM.

Hi everyone, I am currently remodelling on a tight budget and looking for advice on a simple indoor motion sensor lighting setup. I want to add motion sensor lights under kitchen cabinets, hallway, stairs, bedroom, bathroom, closet, entryway, pantry, laundry area, living room, and garage.

The idea is to have soft, automatic lighting for night use without complicated wiring or expensive installation. I have been looking at budget-friendly options on Amazon and Alibaba, especially stick-on LED strips and rechargeable motion sensor lights.

Has anyone here had experience using budget-friendly sensor lights? How well do they hold up in terms of reliability, placement, and sensor sensitivity? Any advice or recommendations would be really appreciated.

I’m starting out sourcing small kitchen appliances (like air fryers, mini blenders, electric kettles, and handheld mixers) from Alibaba and reselling them online. I’m trying to figure out the best way to increase AOV without hurting conversion rates.

Right now I’m testing basic bundles like air fryer + silicone accessories set, or blender + extra jars, but results are mixed. I’ve also considered upsells like extended warranty, recipe ebooks, and “starter kits,” but I’m not sure what actually works in this niche.

For those selling kitchen appliances, what strategies have worked best for you to increase average order value? Did you see better results from bundling, volume discounts, or post-purchase upsells?
