A throwback design exercise inspired by the age of airships.
Turns out “zeppelin, but make it Starfield” was a perfectly acceptable engineering brief.

BMX Industries requested “better access.” AMSW heard “destination property.”
Retro finally got her hands on ASC Taiyo.
Initial impressions are positive.
Procurement has requested she stop calling every new structural piece “the good shit.”
With AMSW expanding its commercial presence in Gamma Vulpes, we needed something a little more presentable for investor and client tours of the system.
Built out by the AMSW Outpost Development Division, because apparently the cliffs were underutilized.
A little interpretation challenge among friends. We started with the same piece of original concept art and each built what we saw in it.

“Turns out most freight problems can be solved with more engines.”
MkIV variant of my flagship, the AMSW Highwind, reimagined with ASC Taiyo. 8 stories worth of habs in there with no interior clipping.
“That helium-3 leak is probably fine.” - RBB
During a recent AMSW survey mission across the wastelands of Old Earth, an expedition team recovered a sealed cache of pre-Exodus optical media buried beneath centuries of dust and debris. Most of the archive had succumbed to age, leaving behind little more than fragmented data and unreadable sectors. One disc, however, yielded just enough intact information to capture the attention of our engineering division.
While the vast majority of its contents had been lost to time, several surviving files depicted the conceptual design of a remarkable atmospheric and orbital vessel known only as Highwind. No complete technical specifications remained, only enough geometry and structural references to suggest that its creators had envisioned it as the ultimate symbol of exploration at the end of an incredible journey.
Inspired by those recovered fragments, AMSW engineers set out not to recreate the ancient vessel, but to honor it. The result is the AMSW Highwind mk IV,a modern interpretation built with contemporary technology.
A salute to one of my favorite shipwrights
15 builds that have survived and not been repurposed into something else 😆
Because I can’t NOT build an outpost when there’s a view like that!
AMSW Corporate: Please stop calling them fangs.
ARC: They’re totally fangs.
Earlier this week, an ARC intern departed Callisto Chasm aboard a modified light courier after reportedly receiving an employment offer from Industry 2142.
The vessel successfully escaped local patrol craft after exploiting the fact that nobody cared.
Mk III - a total reimagining of RBB’s signature ride

There’s exactly one unnecessary merge in this build, but I like the shape it gives the silhouette 😆
