So starting ka docs ka arrangement tak sab thik tha, after professor verified my docs they send u too other room for online verification with cet , 1) here starts pehla disaster in here nobody is guiding kya karna hai and u have to figure out what the fish is happening, and unka wifi hi chala Jaa ta hai 2-3hrs tak now usse pehle Mera verification hoo chuka taa bcuz main jaldi aagya tha butt johh thoda late aaye unka bura haal hoo chuka tha...and they were so inconsiderate about this situation matlab ek Banda joo pune main nahi rehta woh keh raha tak sir my bus is in few hours aaj ho jayega kya? and he was like kal ajao but woh kehra hai ki i don't live here that guy wasn't listening but joh student ka parents woh prof ko kehraha tha ki management was not good and prof instead of listening and owning there mistake, he was like our college is great and how other colleges face bad situation then these , I am like whattt!!!??

2. now the most frustrating part the payment of fees as you already know unka wifi down so they couldn't give us id and password to there stupid student portal where u have to pay fees online, and woh bc website mobile keh liye bana hi nahi hai, payment pc/laptop se hoga i am like bro u are such a big institution and ur student portal mobile responsive nahi hai wtf!!!! And maine jab kaise taise payment Kiya mobile par bc receipt pe dikha raha hai that I am admitted to bba ca but actually muzhe bba gen allotment huo hai!! Iam like what the hellll now i am calling the staff they are like tu kyu payment Kiya dekhta I am like mera train hai 5.30 pm ka and I am in railway station u guys told payment as soon as possible Karo so did it on mobile and mobile pe nahi dikhya course last main payment le baad dikhya 😭😭😭

Final Cutoffs are out, this is my final post on CET Percentile ANALYSIS >>>

Before getting into the stat part here is Short Summary :

Out of 42 cutoffs checked across 21 colleges, almost 9 out of 10 went down this year compared to last year. On average, cutoffs dropped by about 2 percentile points — but it wasn't the same for every college.

Top colleges like NM, Jai Hind, and Mithibai barely changed at all — they're basically the same as last year. The middle-tier colleges (think Wilson, SIES, Hinduja, Lala, BMCC, Bhavans) saw the most up-and-down movement, some dropping a lot, a couple even going up. And colleges like Garware and Thakur saw the biggest drops of all — 5 to 7 percentile points lower than last year.

So the short version: the closer a college was to the top last year, the less it changed. The more "middle of the pack" it was, the more unpredictable the shift. Don't just compare percentiles blindly — check where your actual rank falls against last year's cutoff for your target college.

DATA — 21 colleges, 42 data points across General + Ladies categories. Here's the full statistical breakdown of how 2026 cutoffs compare to 2025.

Headline numbers:

Colleges that dropped:         37 / 42   (88%)
Colleges that rose:             5 / 42   (12%)

General category:
  Average change:   -1.95 percentile points
  Median change:    -1.10 percentile points
  Spread (std dev):  ±2.07

Ladies category:
  Average change:   -1.63 percentile points
  Median change:    -0.74 percentile points
  Spread (std dev):  ±2.22

On average, a college's cutoff percentile fell by about 2 points this year. But notice the median (-1.1) is smaller than the mean (-1.95) — a handful of colleges dropped hard and pulled the average down, while most colleges moved by less.

The Extremes

BIGGEST DROPS (General)
Garware (BBA-CA):    85.49 → 78.73   (-6.76)
Thakur (BBA):         91.04 → 85.65   (-5.39)
BMCC (BMS-ECOM):      96.13 → 91.45   (-4.68)
Garware (BBA-IB):     93.69 → 89.30   (-4.39)
Garware (BBA-G):      92.86 → 89.53   (-3.33)

ONLY TWO ROSE (General)
Hinduja (BMS):        95.60 → 96.31   (+0.71)
NM (BMS):              99.76 → 99.85   (+0.09)

Garware alone shows the steepest drops of the entire dataset — all three of its courses (BBA-G, BBA-IB, BBA-CA) fell 3.3 to 6.8 points. That's not noise, that's a real shift for that college specifically.

Reading the Pattern by Tier

• Top-tier colleges (99+ last year) — NM, Jai Hind, Mithibai, Ra Podar — barely moved, mostly within ±0.3 points. A tiny pool of top rankers doesn't shift much year to year.
• Mid-tier colleges (90–97 range) — Wilson, SIES, Hinduja, Lala, BMCC, Bhavans — show the biggest, most inconsistent swings: anywhere from -0.2 to -4.7. This is exactly where the single-attempt-vs-two-attempt effect hits hardest.
• Lower-cutoff colleges (Garware, Thakur) — saw the largest absolute drops of all: 5-7 points.

Bottom line: Percentile isn't shrinking equally everywhere — it's shrinking more the closer you get to the middle of the pack. Compare ranks, not percentiles, especially if your target college sits in that 90-97 zone. What does this all mean

Disclaimer : The Seats of Mithibai and NM college have been reduced to half so Even this year cutoffs are going to be high. But Ra podar and Jai hind college seats are same as last year . This is just analysis based on cet actual data from past year and current year Do Not Consider it as official Cutoff.

This is a follow-up to my previous post where I analyzed the shift in rank vs percentile between the 2025 and 2026 BBA/BMS CET merit lists.

Last year's BBA/BMS CET had two exam sessions, while this year had only one. Because of that, many 2025 percentiles appear "inflated" when compared directly with 2026. This tool converts your 2026 merit rank into its equivalent 2025 percentile for a fair comparison.

Based on that analysis, I built a simple tool to help students compare their results with last year and estimate which Top Mumbai's colleges they may be eligible for.

What the tool does

Just enter your 2026 Final Merit Rank, and it will show:

• ✅ Your 2026 percentile
• ✅ The equivalent 2025 percentile for the same merit rank
• ✅ A list of top Mumbai BBA/BMS colleges you are likely eligible for based on previous cutoff trends

This makes it much easier to compare your performance with last year's admission data without manually searching through merit lists.

Important Note

The college predictor currently includes only the major BBA/BMS colleges in Mumbai. It does not include colleges from the rest of Maharashtra yet, but I'm planning to add them in a future update if there's enough interest.

The tool is built using the official 2025 and 2026 merit list datasets. While I have tried to make it as accurate as possible, the college predictions are estimates based on previous cutoff trends and should not be treated as official CAP predictions.

I called the cet cell and inquired about provisional merit list they told due to technical error they will release it in evening and regards with the schedule it will be on time as dates given !!!

guys last year cet ka result 4th june ko aya tha and objection redressal 27 may ko tho roughly 7 days laga unko result publish karne main toh apna objection redressal 27 may ko huo tha so we can except our result 6 june or 8 june kyu ki 7 th ko sunday hai this is my rough estimation >> BUT we never know cet kab gand marde !!
