Evening all,

My son collected the Pokemon Go set a couple of years ago, and earlier this year started a new set “ascended heroes” by spending some Xmas money on an etb (£45) in Feb/march and then subsequently bought a couple of single packs with he’s pocket money from the local card shop in April/may.

It is he’s 13th birthday in a couple of weeks and has asked for some more packs to continue he’s collection.

Now admittedly I have never personally been interested in collecting cards, but am happy to support a little hobby for him, but all I can seem to find are etbs for £170/180 (300% markup) and the same sort of thing for booster boxes.

Are these ridiculous markups my only option? Is there likely to be another release from wholesale soon? How likely is it I’d end up buying fakes from resellers etc?

Afternoon all, as the UK is now peak summer and hitting 30c poor Reggie is a hot mess lol.

He has had the gel filled cooling mats, but he tending to walk onto them and then drop like a stone on to them and has now split both his gel filled mats.

He has a cooling vest which he wears, you pre soak in water and keep him cool for a few hours which is helpful at peak times.

Was wandering if anybody had used and had success with any other types of cooling mats other than the gel filled?

Good morning all, looking for a bit of advice, facing redundancy for the first time and going into a consultation period.

The business announced a percentage of roles over the entire business and our department will face a certain amount of redundancy, our department was asked to pick and vote for a department mental representative who would represent the whole department during the consultation period.

Two names were floated, but when anonymous voting took place, one person was chosen unanimously by our department.

Yesterday we all received an email from HR stating that because our unanimously selected representative is on annual leave for the first week of consultation they (HR) have decided to select the invited person for us!

Many have sent a return email stressing the fact that we were asked to select a rep and as nobody voted for the other guy it’s not a fair situation for them to select him and that some allowance should be made to accommodate our selected rep, which has fallen on deaf ears.

Are there any legal practices or procedures for this kind of process? Can they pretty much do as they like and we have to accept it?
