Where to go for a wine tasting this week/weekend near or around Freiburg?

Hey! A friend from the US is visiting me this weekend and of course she chose the hottest week! I was planning on hiking with her but… personally after 33 degrees I tap out in the sun. 😭

Anyway, she really loves wine so I thought it would be special to take her somewhere to go for a tasting in the afternoon. What are your recommendations? Budget doesn’t matter as long as it isn’t over 100€ a person :)

Best homemade chewy, thick noodles? (Not udon!)

I'm looking for a restaurant that serves the best firm, thick noodles. Unfortunately the ramen restaurants and other noodle restaurants I've been to serve mostly thin noodles. This isnt an issue, but I've always preferred thicker ones.

What are your recommendations?

Where can I get a full-body checkup in Osaka?

You know— blood work, STD tests, all that jazz. I realized that I haven't ever done one of these and because I'll be in Osaka for a few months I wanted to see if there were any options.

Just in case, you know? Back in my home country my insurance doesn't cover things like this and I heard it was more affordable to get in Japan. My budget is around 400€ maximum.

Not sure if this even possible to begin with. Let me know (:

I'm (26F) looking for real connections in Osaka!

Hey guys! I'll be visiting (and possibly staying!) in Osaka starting in June. I'm looking for a few friends (ideally between 21 and 31 years old) to meet up with. I've only been to Tokyo once before for two weeks, so I'm not too experienced with Japan in general. A little bit about me:

I'm originally from the USA (Miami) but I live in southern Germany. I work from home, so I'm always on my laptop. But I'm a freelance social media manager, so I never really HAVE to work a 40-hour week. Which is why I was like hmm, flights are cheap right now... how about I go to Japan? I'm not rich by any means but I've never touched my savings, so I thought, hmm why not. Life has been boring recently and it's time to spice things up.

I'm super into food. Moreso than the average person. I'll try anything once and I'll crawl through the trenches to get good food. Unfortunately, in Germany the food is rather bland... Well, anyway. I LOVE dancing (shuffling) I love raves (hardstyle, jumpstyle music... techno... latin music) and I love wellness. Going bar hopping would make me incredibly happy. Or we could go cafe hopping. Or we could cook! Karaoke is fun as well. And yeah, anime is great. Although I'm not one to purchase any anime figures or walk around in cosplay.

To be honest, I enjoy walking around the city without a plan and just seeing where the road takes us. I'm never really stressed out and I'm more of a "go with the flow" type of girl. I love going to the middle of nowhere and visiting run-down shops/restaurants and supporting local businesses.

As for my personality, I'd consider myself rather social, however I'm not a hyper social person unless I've been drinking. Lol!

To be clear, I am NOT looking for anything sexual or romantic. Please. I'm really not interested at all.

Just send me a message and maybe we could meet up! If I like you enough, you guys can visit me in Germany or Miami. (':
