How do you determine which notes you assign to which instrument?

My one question that I have (I’m not sure if there’s an answer or if it just comes with experience) is this: Outside of the bass note, how do you decide which note goes with which instrument and in which register?

For example, let’s say you end a piece with a B major chord like Stravinsky’s Firebird. Obviously it’s not going to be inverted, so our bass note is a B. But outside of that, there’s so many instruments. I mean what’s the difference in giving second and fourth horn and octave F# and an octave D# in the grand scheme of things.

Do composers consider how the notes would ring with the other horns? Does that really make a difference with that many other instruments playing?

A Website that’s Interactive?

I have an idea for an educational interactive website and want to include interactive features/make the website look as sleek as possible. I don’t have experience coding or building websites, so I’d most likely end up using a program that does some of the work for you.

I understand that this is a complex skill (I’ve tried the paid version of Webflow but ended up scraping my idea) and also that this is something you can’t really jus pick up. Basically what I want to know is what’s the most complex interactive feature I could most likely figure out without experience. (Something like images that move while scrolling, clickable slideshows, audio import, interactive map, etc)

Please Help

Okay so I really can’t remember that much.

It was a hyperpop song in a minor key. It sounded like Pink Panthers and one other female artist. The only lyrics I can remember are “nobody nobody nobody nobody” and “over you over you over you over you” descending from the 5th of the scale, i’m pretty sure it was in d minor. and i think it was kind of explicit. but that’s about all i can remember 😭

Birth Control for Period?

I’ve had pretty heavy periods for my whole life, and just recently heard one of my friends say she was on birth control for her period. I researched and saw that it can make your flow a lot lighter or stop it altogether.

I was wondering what people had experienced with this? Also I know birth control has other more negative side effects. Do people have experience with those as well?
