I decided to go for Alcan Alminac because I adore her and have become sort of a fae fanatic lately.
I liked seeing it actually change in the menu, and it was nice to see a decision that reminded me of the choices i love in warframe like the kuva, sirius or orion, and >!Natah/Lotus/Margulis!< even though this one didn’t hold as much weight.
I’m wondering which name you all chose and why?
I have not worked with EVA at all to make swords or props. I wanted to try making my partner and I a matching Dewelion and Witan from the game Soulframe, but it's a bit intimidating. Some questions/concerns I have.
How easy is EVA to work with? Will my hobby tools suffice?
I have heard that making a sword with a solid core is important, but Dewelion has a twisty handle and Witan has a hole in the middle. How could I get around these?
Is the blade of Dewelion too thin at the tip to realistically make out of 6mm EVA?
While I have not personally made a prop sword before, I have an extensive background in the arts and have a ton of experience with both painting and model building. My partner is also a sculptor and theatrical prop maker, but I want to do this mostly on my own.
Any advice or tips would be greatly appriciated!
