Data for Middle Earth releases and what this means for the Future of the game.
There has been a fair amount of doom and gloom about the game recently, people saying its supported or recieving the bare minimum from Games workshop, so I put this together to look at the trends of the games releases and see how it compares to what we are currently going through.

So in Summary 2019 was by far the busiest time for releases with the game, getting 3 supplements in one year after the relaunch from the hobbit SBG to MESBG. With 2024 and 2025 being the years with the most releases since then. Something else to bear in mind is how there has been a recent shift into making all kits plastic compared to almost every other year being mostly resin. From my understanding Production on plastic kits typically takes longer than resin due to the design process, tooling and creating of sprues with Games Workshop typically taking 2 years from design to releasing a kit (supposedly). 2023 was a very quiet year for the game, this is most likely because its when the team recieved the rights for War of the Rohirrim so had to pivot and begin production on those miniatures to meet the release date for the film at the end of the following year, its also when GW released 10th edition for 40k which took up a huge amount of their product production. I think its also very likely that we are going through something similar now with Hunt for Gollum releasing at the end of next year and 11th edition of 40k having just released, probably meaning kits that were planned or designed have potentially been delayed because of this.
So take this information however you like, but personally I remain pretty optimistic about the game and I'm sure we have plenty more to come.
