I am contemplating self-publishing through Kindle, and think I will start off with KU. Any “dos and don’t” for the publication of a science fiction trilogy? I am aware that I will need to have an eye-catching cover that will probably cost me money. What other things would successful KU publishers recommend?
I can’t believe there is a whole sub devoted to dumplings. I love dumplings of all kinds.
My beloved senior kitty crossed the rainbow bridge last fall. He left behind a younger “sister cat” (7 years old) that seems to be okay without him. However, I miss having two cats interacting.
My husband and I are in our 70s. We are doing fine, but you never know after “a certain age” which we have reached. I would love a kitten, but it might be too much activity for both us and our cat. A more “middle-aged” cat might have quirks and not get along with resident cat. I am concerned about what could go wrong, but still tempted.
Since my daughter is a cat lover, I don’t fear that if we are incapacitated or dead our kitties will have no one to care for them. So the question is more how our cat will adjust to another adult cat (and vice versa).

Hi. I have been participating this sub under another account name since early this year, but for a variety of reasons decided to create an account for talking about writing. In my older account I am “WhyTeach.”
A major reason that I created this new account is that some of you told me that I should have my Royal Roads publications “In my profile” here. Does that mean posting a link or just listing the title?
