I believe it’s a tiger trout from the patter at the top but I’m not sure.
I currently have a Kastking max steel and its my first BFS rod but i am looking to upgrade, Reason is i have a LuckyCraft Pointer 65SP and i cant really jerk it cause the rod will just bend and not have enough power. So i want to get a higher power rod but I'm curious if id still be able to cast 2-3 gram lures. the rods I'm trying to decide inbetween are the Tsurinoya Dragon C6102ML (4-12g) and the C662L(3-10g). I feel like I've been set on the C6102ML but I'm not sure on if 2-3 gram lures would still be castable, Obviously i expect it to cast worse but i don't know how bad, and i would just get with C662L but i don't think it has the power to jerk a 65mm jerkbait. I've also tossed around the idea of the C6102UL/ML (2-12g), But my Kastking is also 2-12 and the whole reason I'm here is cause it doesn't jerk my luckycraft pointer. Help would be much appreciated. side note most of the stuff i throw are like 5g crankbaits, karashi which is also 5g, jigs that range from 4-7g. i don't think i would exceed 10g probably but i also have some 2g and 3g jigs i use for perch and trout.
Edit: i don't think not being able to cast 2-3 gram lures anymore would be the end of the world to me so i'm more concerned if the C662L could handle the 65mm jerk, if not then ill get the 6102ML and deal with crappy light casting.
My collection after about 2.5 years of seriously fishing, once you get into the jdm stuff it really hits the wallet.
