This update also introduces support for American and British Sign Language in cinematics, and creators can include their favorite mascots in their races and garage layouts with new props in EventLab.

What's more, for those of you who need a new Car Horn, two more have been added, including a Mascot Car Horn and Fus-Roh-Dah, inspired by a game we all know and love.

Pack your favorite snacks and get ready to cruise Japan with your favorite mascots. This is the Horizon Mascot Party!

Game Improvements and Release Notes

Forza Horizon 6's latest update will be available for download starting on Monday, August 10 at 5:00PM UTC on XBOX Series X|S, the XBOX app on PC and Steam, ahead of the Horizon Mascot Party Festival Playlist series starting on Thursday, August 13 at 2:30PM UTC.

Here's a preview of the fixes and improvements coming your way in this update based on the feedback and reports you've been sharing with our teams on the Forza Feedback Portal

  • Fixed an issue where players could buy a car from a Car Meet and unlock the Livery.
  • Fixed an issue where thumbnails of cars with custom Liveries would not load.
  • Fixed an issue where players were receiving a “Garage Full” pop-up notification after receiving a new Car Pass car, with the game also erroneously claiming that cars could not be removed.

Check out the Forza Horizon 6 Horizon Mascot Party release notes on our Forza Support site for a full overview of the fixes and other changes that are included with this release.

If you encounter any issues while playing Forza Horizon 6 that haven't been addressed in this update, be sure to submit a bug report on the Forza Feedback Portal and include as much detail as you can to help our teams investigate the problem.

Now Available: American and British Sign Language

With this update, players can enable American Sign Language (ASL) and British Sign Language (BSL) for cinematics in the Accessibility menu. This feature will work by using a picture-in-picture display of an ASL or BSL interpreter during cinematic game scenes. Players will also be able to change where the interpreter appears on screen and adjust the background color to their preference.

Our objective is to make Forza Horizon 6 an inclusive experience for everyone to enjoy. Please continue to share your thoughts and ideas with us on new accessibility features or improvements to existing options that you would like to see on the Forza Feedback Portal.

High Speed Made Cute: The Edamame Time Attack Circuit

Forza Horizon 6's Time Attack Circuits challenge you to set the fastest lap time across multiple grassroots circuits, from high-speed road circuits to thrilling offroad adventure parks. You can also compete with your friends in real-time on the Convoy Leaderboard, which shows your Convoy's current best lap times on the circuit.

To celebrate the Horizon Mascot Party, we've added a new temporary Time Attack Circuit for this series only. Turn up at the mascot-themed Edamame Time Attack Circuit in your favorite car and achieve your fastest lap time for the in-world Leaderboard. Remember, these Leaderboards show your best time at your car’s current PI level, your next rival, and the global top 3, before resetting in the next season.

2024 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1

The 2024 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 is a big, burly supercar that’s going to change the way you think about muscle cars. To say farewell to one of their biggest icons, Chevrolet fitted the 2024 ZL1 with a sophisticated suspension and responsive steering that make this car a star, whether on a straight line or a curvy track.

1974 Toyota Celica GT

https://preview.redd.it/m1k8c5hkykih1.jpg?width=3840&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8f04d32bc7952d254319aefbd1999a0a535c1ead

The 1974 Toyota Celica GT was built to travel overseas and compete with the pony cars taking over the American market. In contrast to its American rivals, the Celica GT was built to enjoy smooth drives in style, but don’t let that deter you from turning it into a compelling street racer for Touge events!

1989 Toyota MR2 SC

1988 Mitsubishi Starion ESI-R

https://preview.redd.it/s5b7xdznykih1.jpg?width=3840&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2fad316d58f20750663370826fc6ff88ca058703

  • Drivetrain: RWD

In the pantheon of 80s Japanese performance lays the 1988 Mitsubishi Starion ESI-R, a hidden jewel among enthusiasts. This car is equipped with performance-oriented technology such as its intercooler and electronic fuel injection. The widebody kit and 17-inch wheels you see are not part of some build; they come in the stock version of this car.

1968 Dodge Dart HEMI Super Stock

Earn 40 PTS during the Spring Season on the 'Horizon Mascot Party’ Festival Playlist Series. Available from September 3 – September 10.

  • Engine: 7.0-liter V8

  • Torque: 490 lb-ft
  • Stock Class & PI: B 540
  • Drivetrain: RWD

The tried-and-true formula of small car + big engine is proved right once again with the 1968 Dodge Dart HEMI Super Stock. One quick look at this car’s body and you’ll realize it was built to go from the dealership straight into Drag Meets, no modifications needed.

Car Pass

https://preview.redd.it/ueh6s5cqykih1.jpg?width=3840&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3e14b01dcd41e345f3d65798c4234c8b629efb05

Forza Horizon 6’s Car Pass delivers 30 new cars that, one by one, will be delivered to your garage each week. Car Pass is the ultimate way to upgrade your collection with some of the freshest cars making their debut at the Horizon Festival.

If you're new to Car Pass, check out the Forza Horizon 6 car list to see all the vehicles that have been released into Car Pass so far. This is also a great resource to track every car that is currently in the game, and it also includes notes on how they can be obtained.

As a new car is made available with the Car Pass each Thursday, it will automatically be added to your garage at no additional in-game cost, allowing you to save those credits.

Car Pass is included with Forza Horizon 6 Deluxe and Premium Editions, as well as the Premium Upgrade. It’s also available as a separate purchase for players who have the Standard Edition or are playing with Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass.

Here are the cars you can look forward to driving in Horizon Japan over the next four weeks:

1968 Alfa Romeo Tipo 33/2

https://preview.redd.it/i72y29fsykih1.jpg?width=3840&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8fc1a9eb34959c0f3a9e85172e408d5c58b1a44d

  • Stock Class & PI: A 696
  • Drivetrain: RWD

Make way in your garage to welcome an endurance racing legend. The 1968 Alfa Romeo Tipo 33/2 is one of the most successful racers by the Italian manufacturer. Built to triumph in the 60s, the Tipo 33/2 conquered plenty of competitions.

1957 Ford Thunderbird

https://preview.redd.it/s10sbviuykih1.jpg?width=3840&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=341639a0fbce8dc107c7b10b469e3fc29fab38ce

The first generation of one of the most iconic muscle cars ever built arrives at the Horizon Festival with Car Pass. The Thunderbird was built with two objectives in mind: to provide drivers with great comfort and allow them to cruise in style.

1983 Nissan Skyline 2000 Turbo RS

https://preview.redd.it/8jd7im2xykih1.jpg?width=3840&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d91c73365537e92513b52e36e760cf62f7c9094a

The Nissan Skyline 2000 Turbo RS is famous for its TV appearances and being the most powerful Skyline of its era. During its run as Japanese television’s greatest star, the Turbo RS wore a red livery with the 4 Valve DOHC RS-Turbo label on its doors. But what actually makes this car a dream to own is the Garrett T3 turbo added to the already phenomenal FJ20E engine.

1987 Porsche #203 Porsche AG 961

https://preview.redd.it/2qs42oxyykih1.jpg?width=3840&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4e2722ecf5f43c1d2ef5b2399c2cd8c234fcdb78

"I may only have 9.5 horsepower, but I promise to roll into your heart at full speed!" the King S-7 chirps.

"Hold on, don't move... Still accelerating..."

This adorably tiny car is the Swedish licensed production version of the German Fuldamobil S-7. About 400 examples were produced between 1957 and 1962. Since the S-7 was classified as a motorcycle rather than a car, it could be legally driven with a motorcycle license and sold at Cykelfabriken Fram bicycle and motorcycle shops.

Embrace Your Passion for Italian Exotics in Forza Horizon 6

https://forza.net/news/forza-horizon-6-series-3

Discover Japan with Italian Exotics, featuring a special Italian Aftermarket Takeover and the Italian Passion Car Pack.

Continue your journey of automotive discovery in Horizon Japan with Italian Exotics, the latest content update now rolling out to all Forza Horizon 6 players.

With this update, the Italian Passion Car Pack will be available starting on Tuesday, July 14 at 3:00PM UTC! Once released, players who have the Forza Horizon 6 Premium Edition will be able to begin driving the 4 new-to-Horizon cars that are included, and for everyone else, the Car Pack is also available for separate purchase on the Microsoft Store and Steam.

Over the next four weeks, the Festival Playlist is serving up 3 new-to-Horizon cars featuring the 2024 Lamborghini Temerario, 2022 Lamborghini Huracán EVO Spyder, and 1984 De Tomaso Pantera GT5. There's also an Italian Exotics takeover of the Aftermarket dealership at the Horizon Stadium where you can find Wheelspin-exclusive cars, additional EventLab props to use in your creations, a cozy Tank Latte Cup Collectible, and 4 new-to-Horizon cars entering the Car Pass garage.

Before we take a closer look at the cars and content in Italian Exotics and the Italian Passion Car Pack, here's a preview of the fixes and improvements coming your way in this update.

Game Improvements and Release Notes

Forza Horizon 6's Italian Exotics update will be available for download starting on Monday, July 13 at 5:00PM UTC on XBOX Series X|S, the XBOX app on PC and Steam, ahead of the Italian Exotics Festival Playlist series starting on Thursday, July 16 at 2:30PM UTC.

Here are some of the top improvements in this update based on the feedback and reports you've been sharing with our teams on the Forza Feedback Portal:

  • Improvements have been made to reduce excessive AI collisions on corner entries.
  • Fixed an issue causing the LINK Clean Sweep Skill to not be counted.
  • Removed Auction House price cap for cars not purchasable in the Autoshow.
  • Fixes have been applied to numerous exploits, including XP and credit farming using Auto Drive while AFK, Skill Points farming from Estates, and making yourself un-challengeable in The Eliminator by disabling head-to-head races.

Check out the Forza Horizon 6 Italian Exotics release notes on our Forza Support site for a full overview of the fixes and other changes that are included with this release.

If you encounter any issues while playing Forza Horizon 6 that haven't been addressed in this update, be sure to submit a bug report on the Forza Feedback Portal and include as much detail as you can to help our teams investigate the problem.

Leaderboards Update

With the release of Italian Exotics on July 13, we’ve reset all Rivals Leaderboards. The fixes included in this update patch glitches which could be exploited to pollute the Leaderboards with unrealistic times.

We understand this will be disappointing to players with legit lap times; however, we’ve chosen this approach so that way everyone has a clean sheet to play with going forward. Regardless of the Leaderboards deletion, any clean times posted to earn the associated Collection Journal items for the Rivals will not be lost and will remain unlocked.

Our team are also looking into resolving some glitches that can be used to pollute PR Stunts Leaderboards with unrealistic scores, and while we don’t have a timeline yet, we do expect to perform a complete wipe of those Leaderboards once the fixes have rolled out.

Italian Passion Car Pack

Embrace your passion for automotive perfection in 4 great new Italian cars in Forza Horizon 6 that are ideal for cruising, racing, or exploring.

Our team is investigating Leaderboards in Forza Horizon 6 due to the presence of unrealistic entries. These have been achieved through the exploitation of glitches or obtained by using Drag Tires before the latest physics balance changes we’ve introduced on June 15.

Therefore, we’ve made the decision to proceed with a complete reset of the affected Leaderboards, which will be wiped as soon as these exploits get patched in the game.

The Italian Passion Car Pack introduces both modern and classic Italian cars to your garage featuring the 2025 Ferrari F80, 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB4 Spider, 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm, and 1990 Alfa Romeo SE 048SP.

Once you download the Italian Exotics update and have purchased the Italian Passion Car Pack (included at no additional cost with the Forza Horizon 6 Premium Edition or Premium Upgrade), all four cars will be automatically added to your in-game garage for free starting on Tuesday, July 14 at 3:00PM UTC.

2025 Ferrari F80

The 2025 Ferrari F80 was designed and named to commemorate Ferrari's 80th anniversary, and the Prancing Horse certainly pulled out all the stops to make F80 an automotive milestone. The entire braking system fitted on this car was co-developed with Brembo; the electric engine is the first one completely manufactured in-house, and its aerodynamics produce 1050 kg of downforce. With 1200 horses under its hood, this is the most powerful road-legal Ferrari ever made. Join Ferrari’s celebration with the 2025 Ferrari F80!

2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm

Alfa Romeo’s racing spirit of the 60s returns to the roads with the 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm. The GTAm is an amped-up version of the already powerful Quadrifoglio. Ditching the rear seats for a roll cage and upgrading its V6 engine to produce 533 horsepower, the GTAm can reach 60 mph from zero in just 3.6 seconds. Sauber designed the new aero fitted on this car in their wind tunnel, and legendary Formula 1 World Champion Kimi Räikkönen helped refine the final details. All of this in a road legal car you can drive every day.

1990 Alfa Romeo SE 048SP

Built to become a champion, the 1990 Alfa Romeo SE 048SP was Alfa Romeo’s attempt to conquer the Group C class. The SE 048SP was originally created as a replacement for the Lancia LC2 in competitive racing. During development, the SE 048SP was ultimately fitted with a Ferrari-sourced 3.5-liter V12 producing around 680 horsepower. Its carbon-fiber monocoque chassis and aerodynamic bodywork were designed for the demands of Group C racing while retaining Alfa Romeo's signature grille design.

1967 Ferrari 275 GTB4 Spider

With only 10 units ever made, the 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB4 Spider stands among the rarest and most desirable Ferraris ever built. The GTB4 Spider was made as a successor to the 250 California Spider by request of Ferrari’s North America importer. This is one of those cars that proves performance and elegance can go hand in hand, delivering the unforgettable experience that only a classic open-top Ferrari can provide.

The 6.0-liter V12 engine that powers this car produces 624 horsepower, providing the car with a top speed of 217 mph. This makes the MC12 one of the fastest Maseratis ever made. The car went through multiple tunnel tests that resulted in its iconic carbon fiber body. The MC12 can rip through a quarter-mile race in just 11 seconds and can reach 60 mph in around 3.7 seconds. Handling is where this car shows its best side; its reworked body and new suspension make the car stiff around corners. Enjoy this blend of Italian style and Japanese engineering in Forza Horizon 6!

The upgrades start in the exterior with an even more aggressive design that calls back to other Lambos such as the Countach and the Murciélago. A new spoiler and bumper were also added to improve downforce. Put your foot all the way down and this car’s mighty V10 engine will take you from 0-60 mph in just 2.9 seconds. Four-wheel steering and four-wheel drive make launching from a standstill and controlling corners an easy task. Make way for another mighty bull with the 2020 Lamborghini Huracán EVO!

There is no car type filter for Total Buggies & Offroad. Here is a list of eligible cars.

Mud, Sweat & Gears requires an A-Class Total Buggies & Offroad car from the 2010s. This is a Horizon Special car category that can’t be found using car type filters.

Total Buggies & Offroad should consist of the Buggies, Unlimited Buggies, Offroad, and Unlimited Offroad categories, all of which can be filtered by car type. However, as of this writing on July 8, it appears that Playground Games mistakenly selected the Pickups & 4x4s category instead of the Offroad category, as indicated in the screenshot on slide 2.

Below is a list of eligible cars, with stock PI included to show which cars can be upgraded or downgraded to A-Class.

(Note: the 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser Arctic Trucks AT37 (D 332) is not included in the Total Buggies & Offroad category, despite being in the Pickups & 4x4s category.)

  • 2017 Ford #25 'Brocky' Ultra4 Bronco RTR (A 644)
  • 2019 Hennessey Ford F-150 VelociRaptor 6X6 (B 520)
  • 2015 Honda Ridgeline Baja Trophy Truck (B 580)

The worst case of cheating rammers I've ever seen.

I found it quite funny really but at the same time it is a complete joke. 2 of them just trolling. I reported them both via Xbox but I'm not sure if it does anything.

There is no car type filter for Total Rally. Here is a list of eligible cars.

The first season of Series 2 sees the return of the Trial in FH6. Push it to the Limit requires a B-Class Total Rally car from the 1980s. This is a Horizon Special car category that can’t be found using car type filters.

* - downgrade is possible using drag tires, but not recommended for dirt racing

The following cars are not eligible as their stock PI can’t be downgraded to B-Class:

  • 1985 Ford RS200 Evolution (S1 710)
  • 1985 Porsche #185 959 Prodrive Rally Raid (A 623)

    • Developer Notes:  All Daily Challenge Points in Series 1 will be retroactively rewarded to players for each Season they participated in. To claim these, players must visit Series 1 in their Playlist History.

Horizon Play

  • Fixed an issue where some players did not unlock Level 12 in Horizon Play until they entered another race Event.

  • Fixed an issue where rain particles were disabled in the ‘High’ Graphics Preset on PC.
  • Improvements to the pixelated red smoke appearing in Street Races when using upscaling.

Upgrades & Tuning

  • Adjustments have been made to the physics of Drag Tires to align them more with their expected behaviour.
    • Developer Notes:  The team noticed that Drag tires were reducing Performance Index (PI) significantly while still providing enough lateral grip to work effectively as a tire choice for several event types outside of Drag Racing. This is not the expected behaviour or use case for Drag Tires. To alleviate this issue, we have made some adjustments that ensure Drag Tires are no longer the optimal tire choice outside of drag racing events.

Additionally, we have retained the PI cost of Drag Tires, meaning any tune that currently exists, for example, a tune that is A 700 will not change PI, but it will have significantly reduced cornering performance.

The team are aware that this means there are a lot of Leaderboard entries that will need to be removed. This will be an ongoing process as we work to identify and remove any lap times that were set using Drag Tires prior to this patch.

It is important to note that this change only affects the cornering performance of Drag Tires, so Drag times and Drag Leaderboards will be unaffected by this change.

Save issues

If you have experienced any save data loss, we recommend visiting our Forza Support article for more information on how to get help, and ways to reduce the risk of save data loss.
