My favorite spot in the entire game is the path behind Lumbridge castle

something about this place just brings me calm. it's peaceful and quiet. Also if i need to blow off some steam i just crawl down the ruins and start stabbing. I really just like this little section of the world. What's your favorite nondescript spot?

A handful of weapon concepts

After my box fed derringer idea, i had more ideas for weapons rattling around in my head. So i sketched out 3 primaries and secondaries. tell me what you think. I will elaborate more on each one below:

  1. Nitro Express: Consider this to be somewhere between the lever action and the long ranger. Doesn't have the long range accuracy of the ranger, but it hits harder than the lever action and is more suited for closer range fights. Also it can manage two shot bursts. Potential unique jokers could give it piercing as well, or maybe explosive shots.
  2. Kiln Gun: This shotgun once had a job at the forge, but it was called into action to protect the west. Feels more like an actual pump action than the one in game. Low capacity but each shot hits hard. Unique jokers could give it slugs or potentially a duckbill-like spread
  3. Railbow: Beside the ammo count and maybe visible on the gun is a meter. when the gun is not firing, it will fill up. every shot depletes this meter but the shots fly further and do more damage. at max charge, your first shot will have no arc at all. Upgrades to increase charge speed and capacity would be available. unique jokers could include a chance to get ammo refunded on a kill, or a fully charged arrow exploding on impact.
  4. Flare gun: essentially a missile pistol. shots explode on impact and inflict any enemy in rage with a prolonged elemental status effect. Shots do arc at range and will explode in mid air if they fly too long. Unique jokers would give it proximity detonations, or giving the shots high knockback on yourself for movement opportunities.
  5. Grease gun: Yes this isn't really a western style gun at all, but i want an smg and they weren't really a thing yet. So to not make it too boring, i gave it a helical mag and a brace to hold said magazine in place. But in the end its an smg, you know how it works. Unique jokers could include refunding ammo on kills, and a fire rate that increases temporarily on kills.
  6. Fumigator: It's a pistol flamethrower, except it can be set to any of the elemental types like the other secondaries. Reloading is just replacing the tank on the bottom of the gun. Does some damage on impact, but mainly relies on its elemental damage and large spray. Unique jokers could include elemental explosions on kills, and lifesteal from elemental damage.

derringer weapon idea

Of course if they were to add a derringer, the obvious answer would be something akin to Meryl Stryfe from Trigun where you would just toss the guns away and pull out new ones each shot. But after seeing that the sniper rifle was belt fed and pneumatic, i think this goes well with the wackyness of this game.

secondary weapon, fires in two shot bursts or just a slight pause after every two shots akin to having to pump a shotgun as new barrels are loaded in. High damage but low accuracy at anything but short range. Ideal for situations where you realize a bunch of tough guys are breathing down your neck and need to blast them away.
