How powerful is element damage in this game?

Hello fellow hunters, I got to rank 60 (this is my first MH game) and I'm playing chargeblade, should I focus on creating the perfect all purpose artian weapon with a status like para or blast or should I prioritize getting at least one rank 8 monster weapon for every element? I still have to understand how important elements are, on top of that artian weapons are the only ones with 3 deco slots...

I got to high rank, what now?

Hello fellow hunters. I've just killed the final boss and got to the high rank, I'm a bit confused because there were tons of notifications and news poppin on my screen as I got to high rank, what should I prioritize now? Clear the side quests and the High rank side of the main story? Craft every armor and every type of my main weapon? How do I discover new monsters?

Bonus questions:

What are artian weapons and how do I get them?

What's the best way to get jewels? Hunting and rerolling at froggy old lady?

Is there any way to get a consistent and continous restock for healing items?

Thanks

Help a noobie who wants to play chargeblade after duals

Hello fellow hunters, pretty title. I've played the first 20hrs (this is my first MH game ever) with dual blades, but when I tested chargeblade on training ground I immediately fell in love with it. Problem is, I'm not used to slow combat in general, and dual blades were arguably the fastest weapon in the game, what's the optimal combat flow for the chargeblade then? I feel confident with SnS mode but not with Axe, how often should I use Axe?

Spirit release slash sheathing

Hello fellow hunters, pardon me for this noobie question, I have just got the game and spent about 75% of the time in the training ground testing the long sword. Well, I've understood that some combos end with a mandatory sheathing unless you perform the special sheathing, but I can't avoid the sheathing after the spirit release slash, the super duper finisher of helm breaker, am I missing something?

Will I like Nioh 2 after 3?

Title, I've loved so much Nioh 3 and I'd like to play more of it. Will I like Nioh 2 then? I've loved the technical super fun combat of this game and the monster design

Beginner appreciation post (this game is addictive)

Hello Stalkers, I'm just 10 hours into the game and I already love it, it's pure addiction, last night I've slept only 4 hours before going to work since I lost track of time looting and running around. It's incredibly immersive, I love the feeling of being an "anonymous" dude roaming around among bloody bandits, mutants, anomalies and chill guys playing guitar on the ground. I love how I have to constantly watch out for EVERYTHING, my brain Is always "Will those guys be friendly?", "OH NO RADS HERE", "OH NO A FREAKIN WOLF PACK", "OH NO I HEAR MUTANTS SCREAMIN". Plus, I'm very interested about nuclear energy and its story and I got so happy when looking at the map I've realised that the pixelated piece of it was actually Vladimir Ilic Lenin Chernobyl power plant.

Tldr: this game is gonna destroy my life and I'm happy about it

Hi everyone, Saros is releasing soon and probably I'll buy it but first I'd like to play Returnal too since it's free on Extra catalogue.

(For the records, only roguelike game I've ever played is Isaac)

How does the game structure work compared to other roguelikes? Do u carry anything between one run and another? Are savepoints fixed or I can save and come back whenever I want? Is there a storyline you go through with every run?

Thanks
