Audiobooks you’re most eager for

Over time GW has been releasing older books in Audiobook format, though at a frustratingly slow rate in my opinion.

But it makes me wonder what books in particular are at the top of our lists to come to Audiobook format and who we’d like to see Narrate them?
This would not include Re-Dos or New Releases.

My Top Desires are:
1 - Gotrek & Felix: The Serpent Queen - Jonathan Keeble
2 - Scions of the Emperor (Primarchs Anthology) - Toby Longworth
3 - The Thanquol Trilogy - Jonathan Keeble
4 - The Rest of Malus Darkblade - Andrew James Spooner
5 - The Ulrika Trilogy - Antonia Beamish or Helen Keely
6 - Path of the Dark Eldar - Andrew Wincott
7 - Shira Calpernia - Emma Gregory

Though if we are talking about Re-Narrations as well,
I’d kill for a Re-Narration of Vengeful Spirit & Fear to Tread by Jonathan Keeble and The Path of Heaven by Shogo Miyakita

The Second Scouring Book

When do we think we’ll get it and what do we expect it to cover?

I’m hoping we get the announcement soon as it’s been over 6 months since the release of Ashes of the Imperium.

As for content I’d like to see the Completion of the Reclamation of the Sol System.
In particular I’d like to see the Reclamation of Mars and as a result some very Poignant and Somber returns to the Ruins of the Red Planet.
Zagreus Kain & Arkhan Land in particular.
I’d also like to see more set up for the likely very soon coming Fall of Caliban which in expecting to be Book 3 or 4, particularly in regards to the actions of The Fallen still present in the Sol System.

Otherwise I’m not too sure what else we could focus on prior to the Fall of Caliban.
As we know, the Iron Cage doesn’t occur until Seven Years Post-Siege so maybe we could see a degree of Cat & Mouse between Dorn and Perturabo leading up to that infamous event.

Maybe Corax finally shows up at Terra?

But what do you all think?

Black Crusade

Assuming Dark Heresy as as big or bigger of a Success as Rogue Trader I wonder if we’ll eventually see a Third CRPG Adaptation of one of the old Fantasy Flight 40k RPGs.

Rogue Trader and Dark Heresy were the obvious first choices given the incredible range of options and player freedom available to a Rogue Trader or Inquisitorial Acolyte.

However there are Three more that Could be Adapted.
Deathwatch, Only War & Black Crusade.

I feel that Deathwatch can be dismissed entirely due to its extreme Restrictions.
You can Only play a Space Marine so Male Only PCs and Companions, No Romance and an Extreme focus on Combat above all else.
The newly announced Sequel to Chaos Gate will absolutely handle that premise better than a CRPG.

Only War could potentially work given the wider options for the Imperial Guard,
There’s Mixed Gender Regiments and plenty of potential for things to happen off battlefield, Gaunt’s Ghosts and Caiphas Cain would be perfect to dig into for inspiration and it of course allows for Romance.
But again it may be too Combat Focused.

That leaves Black Crusade.
I feel Black Crusade could have a lot of potential just due to how different it is.
You are Chaos, But within Chaos there’s a lot of Options.
In the TTRPG you could make a Character either a Human Heretic or a Traitor Astartes,
Allowing for a choice between greater options for customization and ability to Romance Vs Far Greater personal Power in the PC.

Likewise there’s plenty of room for Intrigue and Politics, within various Cults, Chaos Astartes Warbands and in dealings with Daemons.

All in All I feel that should we get a Third 40k CRPG adaptation by OwlCat it should be Black Crusade, though I’d not be totally against Only War.

But what do you all think about what may come after Dark Heresy and its inevitable DLC Expansions?

Give Teclis and Khalida Access to Gotrek & Felix

During Thrones of Decay Gotrek & Felix got a Fantastic Update but there was One, Singular thing missing is their availability to Teclis & Khalida.

There is Zero Reason not to allow them to recruit the Duo given that;
A - Gotrek & Felix worked with each of them in Giantslayer & The Serpent Queen Respectively
&
B - They already did something similar with making Ulrika available to Malakai

It would also be something that makes both Teclis & Khalida a little more unique within their Races in the same way Malaki is with his access to Ulrika.

Just as with the Asrai & Druchii getting their missing Lores of Magic,
I Really Hope this is done sooner than later.

Give the Wood Elves & Dark Elves their Missing Lores

As of now Every Race in the game has all the Lores of Magic they’re supposed to, barring missing Lores like the Lore of Undeath or the Lore of Trolls which will hopefully be added eventually.

The Only Exceptions are the Wood & Dark Elves.

The Wood Elves are Missing the Lores of;
Fire, Light, Death, Heavens & Metal.

The Dark Elves are Missing the Lores of;
Life, Light, Heavens & Metal.

If/When we get a Character Pack for each race or an Overhaul Patch to bring them up to Warhammer III standards, we should get those missing Lores added.

I’m hoping it’ll happen sooner than later.

What Units are we expecting to come with The Glottkin?

Since The Glottkin & Thanquol are the obvious Last Two LLs of Lords of the End Times I figured it’s time to speculate on what each will add.

For The Glottkin I could see them go either way between Nurgle & the WoC.
I feel like WoC is more likely given CA might want to keep the Monogods Balanced with Three LLs each.

But if they are going to the WoC I could see units chosen for them based on how they’d fit into the Warband Upgrade System.

Flayerkin could be Upgraded to Forsaken,
Chaos Spawn to Gigantic Chaos Spawn,
Giant Spined Chaos Beasts as Upgraded Chaos Warhounds,
Chaos Giants Upgraded into Chaos Siege Giants
And Most Obviously,
Chosen of Nurgle into Putrid Blightkings.

But there’s always chances for wild Card additions like the Basilisk or the Warpfire Dragon.

But what do you expect and want to see with The Glottkin?

Bhashiva’s Start Position

I feel like the Bone Road is not the best start for her as she’s going to block Greasus from the Fire Mouth which is a Really Useful Landmark.

Instead I’d rather have her at Yhetee Peak if she Has to be in the Mountains of Mourn as she’d be closer to Grimgor & Kholek.

Alternatively I’d like Zhao Ming actually moved over to Shang-Yang and Bhashiva to take his current start near Hanyu Port,
I think it’d be more interesting having her go up against VCounts, Nurgle & Skaven than Ogres initially.
