So this is my living room from each opening. One goes into the hall, one into the bedroom, and one is the entrance to the house.

My goals for the space obviously is to have an intentional space for people to visit and feel welcome, and I also need a place for the main desk which is my office. I work from home. I am also considering getting a piano keyboard and probably putting it facing out one of the windows.

I was hoping to put some candles in front of the fireplace and make it a somewhat Central to visiting spot because there is some cool herringbone brick on the floor there. But I am willing to completely change the layout if something would work way better. Trying to justify the couch being pulled out as it is but having a hard time.

I had the office desk 90° from where it is now in the command position but it didn't feel right. I think my monitors were blocking the entrance so I didn't actually feel like I was in the command position. The way it is now I feel a lot better and more productive for some reason. I think it's because I can look outside.
