I am trying to find an example of VM_INPUT_WAIT - nothing seems to tell me what the possible mask values are. I understand it is bitwise operations, but I am completely unsure of what corresponds with what. I haven't been able to find a real example not generated by AI.

Currently looking at this Gameboy pocket and I want to fix it up - the LCD screen appears physically damaged but I am unsure if its the Polarizer or if its significant damage. The screen is bumpy to the touch so I have strong doubts but want a 2nd opinion.
