Can I buy M2 Air 16/512 or MacBook pro M1 pro 16 /512gb

I’m confused between buying a MacBook Air M2 (16GB/512GB) or a 14-inch MacBook Pro M1 Pro (16GB/512GB).

My main work will be:

\- Web development / MERN stack

\- Learning AI/ML in future

\- Some video editing and multitasking

\- Long-term daily use

The M2 Air is newer, lighter, and has amazing battery life, but the 14-inch M1 Pro seems more powerful with better cooling, display, speakers, and ports.

I’m getting the M1 Pro in the used market for a good price, so now I’m really confused.

Which one would you choose in 2026 and why?

MacBook Pro gives slight vibration/tingling sensation while charging — normal?

Hey everyone,

I recently got a MacBook Pro M1 Pro and everything seems fine. Battery health is 100%, charger is detected as “Apple Inc.” in System Information, and charging works perfectly.

But whenever I use the MacBook while charging, I can feel a very slight vibration/tingling sensation around the left and right side of the trackpad when I slide my fingers over the aluminum body.

I’m using the original 61W Apple charger with the 2-pin plug.

Is this normal because of grounding/earthing, or should I be worried?

Does anyone else experience this on MacBooks?
