Hey guys!

I know there has been many people asking on here on how to recreate sounds using synths. I also know that the usual answer is abit of tough love “Figure it out yourself”.
I’m not being lazy, I’ve honestly been trying this for the past 3 days, using Voxengo SPAN as help with a reference point.

I was wondering if you could at least give me hints at where to start.
I’ll add a picture of where I’m currently at.

I don’t think it’s far off, but just need that extra reassurance from the pro’s

Hey everyone. My Caldigit TS3 plus just stopped working. Tried a new Power Supply, but unfortunately no luck.
It’s the heart of my home studio setup, so really gutted about its demise.
Im looking at getting a Ts5 Plus, so that I’m Future Proof.

I have a M3 MacBook Pro Max.

I’ve read some complaints about the TS5 Plus, does anyone how any experience with it in there setup? I’ve also read that iVanky are good option, especially as I have a Mac, and they really do cater for them it appears.
But I’ve heard it’s louder than the Caldigit!
And to be honest, I prefer my cables
to all come out the back of the unit like the TS3 plus!

Anyway, but equipment is this:

Akai APC40 mk2
Akai MPK mini 2
M Audio Keystation mk3
Behringher UMC404HD
Samsung SSD
WD Elements HD
Dell Monitor

I had a lot of the above plugged into a USB multi thing, with that plugged into a port on the TS3 plus. Not ideal, but kinda worked 😂

I would appreciate and advice guys.

My whole studio is connected to my TS3 Plus. It’s on 24/7. I purchased it from eBay 2 and a half years ago.
I came home the other day to see there was not blue light on? It was also cold, which it isn’t normally.
I’ve tried a new Kettle lead to the power supply but nothing.
When I plug the power supply into the TS3 there is a click sound, and when I listen to the TS3 there is an electrical ‘humming’ noise coming from it.

As mentioned, I did buy this from eBay, and I know everything has its time, should I just buy a new TS5 Plus? It would be an upgrade, but it’s so important to my setup, it’s the heart of it all.
Just wanted to check if think my original TS3 is knackered before I purchase a new one

Hey Guys! I got sick of trying to find the perfect Snare & Kick using Splice, so I thought I’ve try a dedicated Drum VST.
EZDrummer 3 has a trial, so I’m currently using that.
Question? How would I achieve the drums that are used in ‘Cigarettes After Sex, Apocalypse?’
I’ve only just started using EZD (about 10 mins ago), so I’m guessing it’s a Tight Room Kit?
Just hoping that it’s possible to recreate in the standard version, and don’t have to buy an expansion pack.

Hey everyone! I was wondering if any of you geniuses would know how to re create this Bass part?

To me, it sounds like a Staccato Double Bass? But the only thing that doesn’t sound like that is the kind of ‘Scratchy Thump’ sound at the start of each note.
