Struggling with reflection essay thesis

Hi

I have to write a reflection essay on a book teaching how to read literature like a professor for my AP Lit class. I started writing the intro but I'm having trouble with the thesis. I usually am good at theses but I don't think I've written this type of paper before.

Should the thesis be about how the book changed me, or a couple of things I learned from the book that I will later write a body paragraph on each?

Usually, I say something like: "This is not true because of X, Y, and Z."
Then a paragraph about X, Y, and Z, and a conclusion.

Any tips?

How can I make my eyebrows look better

I have gel on them here. I usually shave them myself but I've been trying to grow them out a little over the summer break to get them done professionally but I'm scared they will mess them up (make them thinner etc). Any tips? I dont like how long the tail is but whenever I try to shorten it it looks weird

Wait or follow up?

My teacher told me they'd look into something for me and asked me to give them a few days. It's been 10 days now and I haven't heard back yet.

Should I follow up with a short email or should I keep waiting?

Why do these students barely talk in my class but are very talkative next door?

I have two students in my class who are friends. Since the school year is winding down, we haven't been doing anything work for the past few days.

In my class, they barely talk. They're both pretty quiet, and one of them is especially awkward and reserved. The interesting thing is that they're also together in the class next door. I've walked in there a few times, and they seem completely different -- much more enthusiastic, talkative, and comfortable.

Both classes are small, and neither class has been doing much academic work lately, so the difference doesn't seem to be related to workload.

Any ideas why they might be so much quieter and less comfortable in my class than in the other one?
