26M switching from Zoloft to Trintellix, looking for experiences
Hi Everyone,
I’m a 26 year old male and have been on Zoloft 50 mg. Mentally, it’s worked really well for me, but the sexual side effects have been frustrating. I’m able to get an erection, but keeping it was sometimes difficult, and even when everything worked it could take me up to an hour and a half to finish.
My doctor added Wellbutrin, which definitely helped with maintaining erections, but it still takes me forever to orgasm.
Now my doctor is weaning me off Zoloft and switching me to Trintellix. I also take Adderall XR 10 mg for ADHD.
For anyone who has taken Trintellix, especially after Zoloft or another SSRI, what was your experience like?
Did your sexual side effects improve? How was it for your mood and anxiety? Any side effects when first starting?
Would love to hear both positive and negative experiences!
