Progressives and high prescription nearsightedness

Hi, I have been wearing glasses since I was about 8 years old. I have a pretty high prescription, around negative 6 in each eye. I probably could have moved towards progressives 5 to 8 years ago but I've held off, keeping my regular glasses as single vision and then I have office lenses for when I'm at my computer.

I'm about to get a new pair of glasses and I think I'm finally ready to get progressives. While I am primarily excited, I am also nervous about it. I have had difficulty with new prescriptions frequently and recent years and I'm just nervous about how it might work for my eyes and my brain. I know that no one else can tell me whether or not I'll like them in advance. I'm not looking for anyone to tell me how I should feel. I know there's a chance that progressives may not be a good fit for me, but most likely they will be. The computer lenses have been a big help.

I would love to hear people's encouraging experiences of getting progressives when there are higher prescriptions involved.

Or, if you had a higher prescription, and tried progressives and found they didn't work, what were the determining factors?

Thank you!

Sleep Stress?

I'm curious about common sleep stress levels. Up until just a few days ago, I have had moderate sleep stress for at least a part of every night, and at least some high sleep stress for most nights.

Here is a snapshot of a recent month. Do most people have moderate and high sleep stress for part of the night most of the time? Or is this unusual? (After starting some new Chinese herbs I've noticed that I've had three nights with no sleep stress. I'm curious to see if that trend continues.)

For some reason it didn't upload the picture I posted so I put it in the comments.

Also, I have multiple health issues including sleep issues, which I receive treatment for. I am not looking for diagnosis or recommendations so please keep comments like that to yourself. I am simply curious about how other people's stress levels during sleep hours line up with mine. Thank you!

What else?

I just received my venturex. I am wondering what key things are going to be important to take care of and register for or activate now. I've activated the card, I've set up my account online, I've enrolled in auto payment, and I just signed up for priority pass.

Is there anything else that I might want to do now that I'll really kick myself later about if I forget about it, like the priority pass? (I have Global precheck already. And I'm getting set up to make sure I hit the 75k bonus.)

And to be clear, I have been studying this card and the related benefits for over 6 months. What I'm trying to figure out are there things I need to register for, or enroll for, or activate. For context, I've been with CSR for a while, and if you don't click certain buttons, the benefits aren't activated. I don't think Venture X is like that, but i don't want to get hit by surprises.

Thank you!

EDIT: Nudge complete. I spent about 10 minutes reading and responding to your comments and I've applied and been approved for the Venture X! Thank you, everyone!

I've had the Chase Sapphire Reserve for the last 7 years. They have revamped the card and it now costs way too much for what I'm personally getting from it.

A while back, I saw this coming, and I did a bunch of looking around and it looks like the Venture X is the closest thing to what I'm looking for. I like that it has the lounges, primary car insurance coverage for rentals, no foreign transaction fees, the $300 travel refund thing, 2x points on everything (except the stuff that's higher), annual bonus points, TSA and global re-entry covered, the $800 phone coverage thing sounds cool, and Jennifer Garner's a nice lady so there's that.

I've just had the CSR for so long. I'll miss being in the weird club with drama over buying Whoop underwear, people arguing about $10 door dash credits, and shared spreadsheets to help people find hotel benefits that really, Chase should have included on their portal.

Help me take the step to apply to Venture X! Am I missing any niche benefits that are going to just be so exciting? What do you like about this card? What exciting drama is in this club? (I've been paying enough attention that I know the changes to the airport lounges has been a thing.)

I want to be very very clear that I'm NOT looking for any type of advice on getting better sleep. That is NOT why I'm posting.

I am curious though, how much restorative sleep are other people getting every night? In general I get about 4 hours per night of restorative sleep.

If you're comfortable with it, please also share your age and/or sex (I'm F / late 40s). I'm most curious about folks in their late 40s and early 50s, but would love to hear from anyone, and I'm interested in how these numbers might change with age and sex.
