I am 60 in a few weeks and have just been put in the support group for ESA.

I have a couple of occupational pensions that will start paying out when I am 60, these total £650 per month.

When I get these, will my ESA stop?

How safe are annuities for retirement?

I am considering putting much of my pension fund in to annuity and whilst the companies quoting have been around for decades (Standard Life etc.) what happens to the annuity if they do go bust?
