Subbed white rice for brown rice because I’m out.
Tastes better than it looks! Followed this pinch of yum recipe but added corn, black beans, and avocado!

My little one is still really confused when it comes to food. She loves to eat the bib more than any food lol! Today for lunch I offered her a small flour tortilla with hummus and a pouch.
Served these with cottage cheese (which went untouched) she’s doing better with the texture of puffs 🙌 not all of them get eaten, but some pieces do!
Didn’t even take a bite. Maybe teething? Maybe not hungry yet? Would rather eat the high chair straps or bib
Wheat toast- one slice with thin spread of peanut butter, one slice with mashed avocado
Full fat Greek yogurt + mashed strawberries
Costco applesauce pouch (mango yellow carrot peach apple)
My 9 month old is still very skeptical of food. She seems to have a strong gag reflex and while we’ve been eating solids for a few months now, she still can only handle purees. Anything thicker and she gags to the point I’m terrified.
My son (now 4 years) was such a different eater when he was a baby. He housed everything and very easily worked up his way in textures. I know I shouldn’t compare them, but by nine months, he was practically eating three full meals, a day and a variety of textures.
I think a lot of the problem has to do with the fact that I don’t have much time with my little one (working full time, doing all the house chores, parenting 2 little ones) and it’s easier to just give her a bottle. I’m hoping to hold myself accountable by posting more regularly here. I’m aiming to offer her food three times a day. We’ve been consistently only offering it once a day so far.
Does anyone feel this way with a baby almost 10 months? I’m worried she’s delayed. I’m feeling guilty for her lack of progress. I’m feeling guilty that she’s behind because of my busy schedule.

Tonight’s dinner was garlic broccolini, tuna white bean salad, and air fried lemon herb salmon.
Someone posted this white bean tuna salad from Serious Eats earlier this week and I’ve been drooling over it for days. Finally made it tonight and it didn’t disappoint.
