Kwento about your solid food journey

Recently nagstart kami sa solid foods.Followed our pedia’s advice na one food at a time and try it for at least 3 days. So far in around two weeks natry na ng LO ko is avocado, potato, and kalabasa. All mashed/pureed and mixed with breastmilk. Lahat di nya nagustuhan. Huhu. We tried isubo and tried din na hayaan syang laruin or i-explore on his own to no avail. Gusto nya lang itapon tapon but does not even attempt to put it in his mouth. Bad reaction talaga kada isusubo.

I know naman na eventually magbabago pa to and gugusto rin sya sa solid foods pero sobrang nakaka-down pala na ganun yung nagyayari. Huhu. I kind of expected him to accept solid food better than this kasi di sya pihikan eh. Napatry na namin ng formula (nung nag mixfeeding kami when I got sick), kahit anong brand ng formula okay sa kanya, kahit anong type of bottle or pacifier tinatanggap din nya. He latches on me well even from the very beginning din. Kaya medyo nakaka-down na biglang sa solid food ayaw nya huhu.

Can you pls share with me how did your solid food journey went? Gusto ko lang malaman pano experience ng ibang mommies and what exact food/system/routine you followed. Oh also, paano/kelan din pala kayo nag-introduce ng water? Did they accept it din agad and how? Sippy cups? Via milk bottles, etc?

Thanks thanks 🥹💝

I think isa ito sa mga di ko na consider masyado upon relocating here. I have a baby at medyo matagal pa naman bago sya mag-aral. If I want to send him to a really good, reputable school… parang pinakamalapit na ang DLSU-Z sa Vermosa. Around 30-40mins travel time.

Magkakaron na rin ng Ateneo sa Gentri by 2030 daw. Around 25-30mins travel time naman.

Baka lang may iba pa kayong alam na good and reputable schools in or around Tanza? I’m looking for somewhere na same calibre sana ng mga nabanggit ko na sa taas.
