We are planning a trip to Toronto and area next year July (2027).

We plan to stay one night in a hotel that has a good view of the waterfalls - especially Horseshoe Falls. Possibly on Canada Day to see fireworks.

Everyone I asked has a different opinion on which hotel has best view. We'd like all 6 of us to stay in one room if possible.

• The Oakes Hotel - a friend was here July 2026
• Hyatt Regency Fallsview (I have a discount for this)
• Sheraton Fallsview Hotel - people recommend but when I look at the map it's far from the Horseshoe falls and I worry the view from window will be tiny.
• Fallsview Casino resort

People who stayed there what is your advice regarding hotels and floor with best view?

Is it better to book by calling the hotel or online (Hotel site, expedia, etc)?

Any tips on booking a hotel is also welcome! (such as when the hotels have good promotions)

Any other quiet activities for kids in the area other than the main touristy ones? We are into child friendly hiking.
