Organizing books, podcasts, videos that don’t dwell on decluttering?

I’m terrible at organizing and need some inspiration, but I’m pretty good at decluttering and don’t have a hard time letting go of things.

I’ve been looking for resources, but many of them spend a good chunk of time on decluttering. I just need someone to walk me through organizing, after decluttering.

Hoping to find something that covers:

-Suggestions for people with ADHD

-Tiny homes with minimal storage

-Renter friendly

-Unconventional organizing advice for homes with annoying limitations (we can’t store things under our beds, we can’t put up shelves, we can’t do tall furniture).

Does anyone have recommendations?

Can anyone point me to storage bench hacks that will actually support adults?

We can’t anchor into the wood paneling in our apartment, so I’m trying to work with this window corner and turn it into toy storage, play surface/bench seating, but I’d like for it to actually be strong to support adults and long-term seating. Since we’re renting, it can’t be permanent and it needs to allow for the vent and outlet access.

Can anyone suggest the best cabinets for hacking and how to make them support real weight? Thank you!

Choose Your Own Adventure Books for 6-year-old?

My son tells me epic stories, kind of like he’s narrating a game of dungeons and dragons. I think he would love choose your own adventure books, but the ones I remember reading often ended with the protagonist dying or in other bad situations. My kiddo would not be ok with that.

Are there any appropriate to read to an almost 6 yo without a lot of violence or death?

Subjects he likes:

-fantasy/scifi/adventure

-cute animals. Nothing bad can happen to them, though.

-spooky, ghosts, monsters as long as everyone ends up ok

He’s not so much into sad stories or interpersonal relationship struggles yet because he has a hard time separating his own feelings from the emotions in the book.

Thanks!

We have some compacted and barren patches along some paths at our apartment complex I’m trying to make a little nicer.

After doing a little digging, we’ve found they are mostly taken up by privet tree roots. Since it’s a rental, we don’t want to invest too much in rehabbing the soil or figuring out how to work around the roots.

Are there any natives that do well in planters? This spot is partial to full shade, but does get a spotlight of strong afternoon sun in the summer. We’re in Marin County.

Thank you!
