Hi! Not an audiophile, but I like good sound. The Marshall Stanmore is $250 right now. I have been going down the wormhole too long and need sound in here. It is the first time in a while living alone and music would be nice. It's a loft style old factory and has been exceptionally quiet. I do not want the neighbors to hate me. I don't like bass heavy music anyway... it's not like I'm listening to Drake. I hate those heavy on bass JBL, and Bose options out there, and never liked subs. Other option: I'd have to spend more money, but a pair of good bookshelf speakers and a used or inexpensive amp/receiver would be better. It's just one and done with the bluetooth speaker though. Klipsch RP-600m are $350 plus an amp. I think the 600m's would sound nice at a low volume, and no sub.

I see a dusty CR-620 just listed for $100. He doesn't really say anything about it except 'Condition: Used good.' I'm trying to get back into a real stereo, but don't want to deal with a can of worms. My abilities to fix these things is low. I had a CR-420 it is was stellar, back in the days when I had 10 receivers at all times because you could buy them for $20 in every thrift shop.

I just moved in to a new building. They have cut some corners in this place. I don't know what the stone is, but my 'granite' counters are all stained from just water. Reddit is not letting me post photos... I asked google AI, and it said the 'counters are not sealed.' The stains get lighter as hours go by. Recommendations?

My feeling is management will dismiss this. The building maintenance guy acts like nothing is a real issue, so wish me luck with that. I think the builder may still be here working on the gym, and he's great, so I'm going to look for him.
