Regarding median Wage as per new ONIP workforce program

Hi all

I need a genuine advice on median wage for TEER 0-3 occupations. I am short on $0.25 in the base pay against the median wage of $29. Although my overall per hour rate is above the median wage when the night premium gets included to it. I am though working straight nights so all my paychecks say that overall pay is above the median wage of $29.

My employer is ready to provide me Job offer letter and is already providing it to anyone employed with them.

Is it ok to go ahead? I am meeting all the requirements of minimum 6 months of work experience under one NOC code, except for the median wage scene.

I am not a new graduate, nor I am on the skilled trade, nor I have a continuous work experience of 2 yrs straight with one employer on one NOC code.

Ontario road test G

Ontario's G road test booking system is a complete joke.

How is it 2026 and booking a driving test still feels like trying to buy front-row concert tickets?

The website is constantly slow, unavailable, or throwing random errors. Then after refreshing for half an hour, an appointment finally appears. You click it immediately. Gone.

Every. Single. Time.

At this point I'm convinced there are either bots camping appointments 24/7 or the booking system is powered by a hamster running on a wheel somewhere in a government basement.

This isn't a luxury service. People need a G licence for work, school, and daily life. Yet getting an appointment feels like winning the lottery.

What's even more frustrating is that people have been complaining about the exact same issues for years. Nothing changes. The website still struggles, appointments disappear instantly, and users are left endlessly refreshing and hoping for the best.

Ontario asks drivers to meet deadlines, book tests on time, and follow the rules. Fair enough. But maybe the booking website should also meet the minimum requirement of actually letting people book a test.

End rant. Back to refreshing.

Ontario G licence road test no

Is this even working?Ontario's G road test booking system is a complete joke.

How is it 2026 and booking a driving test still feels like fighting for Taylor Swift tickets?

The website constantly crashes, times out, throws random errors, and somehow manages to be unavailable exactly when you need it. Then, after refreshing for 20 minutes, a test slot finally appears. You click it immediately. Gone. Instantly.

Seriously, what is happening? Are there thousands of people sitting there smashing F5 all day, or are bots camping every available appointment?

The most frustrating part is that this isn't some optional service. You need a G licence. People need it for work, school, and everyday life. Yet the booking system feels like it was built as a high school computer science project and then abandoned.

Every year people complain about the same problems. Every year we're told to keep checking back. Every year the website acts like it's experiencing a once-in-a-century traffic surge.

And don't even get me started on the third-party booking services that magically seem to know when appointments become available. The official site can barely stay online, but somehow these companies are thriving.

Ontario can send me renewal notices, collect fees, track my licence status, and manage millions of drivers, but finding an available road test appointment apparently requires the skills of a day trader watching stock charts.

At this point, passing the G test seems easier than booking one.

Rant over.
