Hi, I really need help I lost all of my standoff 115x intel socket for kraken x62 and I can’t find it online. Pls help me which socket standoff will fit my kraken x62 with 1156 socket
Honestly, I still love the clean, minimalist look of the H500i, and I couldn't justify throwing it away just to chase the modern "aquarium/fishbowl" case trend.
So instead of a full rebuilt, I treated it to a nice mid-life upgrade:
GPU: Sapphire Pure 9070 XT (Upgraded from a 6600 XT because I was struggling with 8GB of VRAM). Fits like a glove, and the white shroud looks amazing inside this chassis!
PSU: Corsair RM850e (To feed the new GPU with clean power)
Cooler: Deepcool AK700 (Swapped from kraken x62 to air cooling for ultimate reliability)
Airflow is still a bit tight as you all know about this chassis, but with these new components, temps are surprisingly reasonable. Anyone else still holding onto their trusty H500i/H510 in 2026?
[FIXED] Put the mounting bracket between the rad and the fans, should give you a bunch of extra room.
So, I just got my new 9070XT card. Absolute beast of a card, and I was so hyped to get it inside my clean white build.
Before purchasing, I did the math. Case GPU clearance minus the radiator thickness... perfect! I should have a solid 6 mm of breathing room. Plenty of space, right?
Well, theory and reality had a massive fight today.
When I actually tried to install the card, the clearance was so tight that I couldn't even maneuver the GPU past the radiator into the PCIe slot. There was literally zero angle to wiggle it in.
So, out of pure desperation to test my new toy, I had to completely rip my NZXT AIO radiator out of the case and leave it sitting on a microfibre towel outside like a janky external car engine.
Look at this absolute abomination. It went from a clean, aesthetic white build to a cyberpunk Frankenstein monster in 5 minutes flat.
Needless to say, I've already ordered a new white air cooler to replace the AIO because I cannot live with this setup. Learn from my mistakes, guys: always leave more than 6mm, or you'll end up with an external radiator looking back at you. 😂💀
After a lot of small upgrades over the years, I’m finally happy with how my setup turned out.
Nothing too crazy just a place where I can enjoy sim racing, gaming on my PS5, and spend some time working or browsing in the evening.
I went for a warm and cozy atmosphere instead of lots of RGB, and tried to keep the space clean while still showing some of my interests, especially cars and aviation.
