Comission completed, Alligator Money Clip wallet

Completed a Comission for a new customer, but now a repeat as they asked for a second one.

Finally got my hands on real alligator.

Made a money clip of my own design.

100% pure brass money clip from buckleguy

Black alligator accent

Wickett and Craig buck brown harness leather

Ritza tiger thread 0.6mm in colonial tan

I hope yall like it :)

Getting busier and busier recently

Money clips are my personal favorite wallet, that's why it's the first pattern I've created and released to the public.

The design I created hides the clip behind a sleeve of leather, I always dislikes the weird leather fold when you just stitch around the clip as well as the cheap clips that have an ugly sheen or a line down the middle.

I have more patterns coming down the pipeline, of wallets I genuinely love using, not just random made.

But this design is 100% my favorite.

An unconventional color pallete

Like green embossed alligator shell with a shiny silver saffiano interior from Brian Wich on Facebook, really making me feel more comfortable before I make the leap to proper alligator.

Just noticed that 64 has more players than brawl or 4 (Supernova)

Kinda wild 64 maintains their community, wonder how. Same for singles and doubles

Anyone else feel this way about their skills leatherworking?

I knew I was bad, I thought I was getting pretty good, after learning so much and now I understand I'm pretty bad at this lol.

I'm old I hope this meme format is correct

Was asked how this wallet was made in more detail, hopefully this helps

Embossed Alligator and Italian Lamb from Brian Wich's group on Facebook.

Wickett and Craig Bridle in Medium Brown interior

Ritza Thread 0.6mm Colonial tan

RFID film from Rocky Mountain

Barge Contact cement for the liner

Aquilim 315 for the rest of the wallet

Hopefully this helps any questions

Still practicing my tooling with these cast iron handle covers

I want to practice, but I also don't wanna make nothing I can't sell 😅 I have a lot of markets to keep up with so I need the stock. I figured these handle covers are very economical to sell quickly and a good way to practice tooling. Unfortunately my pan has the longest handle on earth so I may need to make multiple sizes

When I'm brave enough, I'll make this with real alligator

I'm too nervous to try real alligator, so I made a less scary more budget friendly option with embossed Alligator. I hope yall like it

First time using embossed leather

I'm also trying to improve my edge paint, this is the first time I think the edge paint looks passable instead of just glooped on. Hopefully it gets better with time and practice

I made a Free pattern for everyone here :)

Free for 1 week, please don't share the pattern or post online 😅 I want to make more patterns in the future, I have some more ready to go. Any ideas on what yall would like? (no more weird vagina looking money clip centers. This has a nice sleeve!)

Learning how to tool beyond just stamping leather, it's hard!

Modeled after artwork from my favorite game of all time, runescape, specifically old-school runescape. Hopefully I get better soon.

Learning how to tool leather, throwback to this art from Legendarts

I've played this game on and off for 20 years now, 2/3rds if my life. I started when I was 10 when I overheard some kids talking about it and now I'm 30 with a wife and kids and a house. Time really flies, enjoy every day fellas

I like purple

Violet buttero with red wine RM thread, pure brass money clip from buckleguy. Hand stitched with dyed edges.

Unfortunately I did get a little dye smudge on the exterior pockets :( but I love the color. Gonna add this to my stock at my next market, I love having a pop of color to attract a crowd! I always have people curious what I have that's new and I'm excited to flaunt this one
