Recently there has been talk of frogs and medaka. I can confirm Pacific Tree frogs are medaka safe. I think medaka will eat the baby tadpoles though. 😉 Both frogs and parent Medaka layed eggs in this tub. I removed the adult Medaka so they wouldn’t eat the baby tadpoles.

Medaka fry are tougher than you think. I hatch and raise almost all my fry outdoors and spring in WA can be variable. We were in the 40s last week and this week 50’s. Fry doing great.

Water lotus tuber double pot with some orange breeders being added. Hoping for better success with the water lotus this summer so trying the double pot method.
