Anyone else experience the presence of others, not necessarily “entities”?

In most but not all of my DMT experiences, I feel the presence of other people. Not the typical “entities” that are often described (I’m yet to encounter one of those), but basically other people. Usually in the corners of my vision. And in the moment I feel so *certain* that there’s another person with me I don’t even think twice about it. It’s not uncomfortable or invasive, it’s actually quite welcoming, just really strange in retrospect.

Gut Exorcism or Something

Just coming out of what isn’t my strongest, but is certainly my strangest, DMT experience.

Earlier in the night I took some LSD, the highest amount I’ve taken since 2023. Great times, but I ate shortly before dosing, so all night it’s felt like I’ve got gas floating around my gut that’s going nowhere. Made for some discomfort but it didn’t bother me; this is typical of my experience with LSD.

5 or 6 hours after taking LSD, I dig up this old DMT cartridge I’ve not hit in months just to see what was up. Even tried “reviving” it by sealing and dunking into hot water, instead of my usual “hold it in my hands for a while”.

So usually, with DMT, I feel like I *have* to close my eyes. I can even think to myself how I’d like to test out the OEVs, but once I’ve inhaled, any will to hold my eyes open disappears. But not this time, this time I didn’t feel persuaded one way or another. I took one good inhale, and saw “subtle” geometric hallucinations on the nature doc I had on the TV. But after that I’m just blank, visually I don’t remember much more than a blur. My headspace was soon transformed into an indescribable state, and I mean that because it’s damn hard to describe. But I do remember suddenly being very conscious of the gasses in my body, and feeling that something was stuck. But now I felt the power to move things, so I did. Through some absolutely unexplainable contracture of some muscle, I felt my way through and, with some effort, cleared what was stuck. I felt a bit better.

I felt a different issue, but the method of defeating it “felt” the same. At the end of this I coughed, and it felt as if I’d hacked up something pretty substantial. Nothing was actually there, but BOY did my lungs clear. It was like my ears popped to, from changing altitudes or something. Such a strange experience. Breathing felt so clean. Then among this weird maze of bodily sensations I was traversing, I found another blockage. Same as before, but this one was tough. So I tried a little harder, sat up in bed, and after just a minute of squirming, convulsing, and retching… I burped, and felt instant relief. This threw me into a fit of hysteric laughter. And that about did it.

I have no idea what this “muscle” I’d been using to defeat the blockages is, if there’s a way for me to re-activate it, or if it’s really a tangible thing and not just some weird mind shit.

So, did the DMT show me a muscle I’d never used before? Allowed me to take control of one I normally can’t? Maybe it just shined a light on some secondary natural process that I really felt I needed to be a part of?

I really feel better. That breath of air after the cough was especially… clean, I guess.

So strange to me too, that maybe 20 seconds after inhalation all visual sensations sorta disappear. I didn’t close my eyes, I just sort of stopped registering what was in front of me. Somewhere in the middle of the “exorcism” I remember my visual processing kicking back in, and feeling like I’d been totally mind fucked upon realizing I never shut my eyes.

Dunno, excuse the haphazard, unorganized storytelling of this report; I did find a way to dispose of the rest of my acid some hours ago. I’m surely missing details, some of which will never be recovered, as is the nature of DMT.

Guess I just wanna know if anyone has had vaguely similar happenings. I’ve read before about some folks sitting with DMT entities while they performed some kinda spiritual surgery on them, or something.

“Remove your VR headset and follow the instructions on the TV screen”

This is the message my new PSVR2 displays in-headset when trying to setup.

I plug in the VR to my PS5. Turn on VR and put on. I’m met with a prompt to set up. Choosing “later” powers off the VR. Choosing to setup brings me to a screen telling me to remove headset and follow TV instructions. But, the TV shows the same screen. No button inputs work.

I’ve cleaned the little forehead sensor like hell. I’ve gone into safe mode to clear cache, rebuild database, the whole thing. I must’ve restarted the PS5 a dozen times. Unplugged from power for 10 seconds to 5 minutes before plugging back in. I saw some talk about using remote play so I tried that. Messed with the USB-C that goes into the console. Checked that the plug on the VR with the PS button symbols was seated correctly. The USB-C looks fine to me but I’ll include a picture in case. The USB-C port in the PS5 seems fine because it charges the controllers no problem, and I can switch to wired connection and still control the console. Nothing I’ve tried or been suggested has worked, and better yet the store I bought it from today says that returns only yield in-store credit, but if the headset is the culprit I’d wish for a real refund so I can spend my money elsewhere.

Please help. I just wanna play No Man’s Sky and Help wanted, man.

How to kill godmode players

THIS IS NOT A TUTORIAL ON HOW TO DO THE EXPLOIT BUT RATHER HOW TO COMBAT IT. Trashy way to play. Rolled up to kill my squad and some cool fellas we ran into. Read online that logging out and back in lets you kill em, here’s confirmation. Don’t worry, this will be fixed in 6 months and the exploiters will receive no punishment. Not sure I want to play ‘til this is fixed, certainly won’t be buying DLC either. And I can’t see the devs anywhere acknowledging the exploit which is a bit insulting. Use this knowledge to your advantage folks.
