Scleroderma? Looking for general advice - 26 yo male

First off, I just want to say I understand no one can diagnose anything. Just looking for advice.

Have had what was believed to be Primary Raynauds all my life. Remember fingers going white in the playground at 5 years old.

Primary Raynauds has been common in my family, multiple relatives have it.

Was diagnosed at 11 and have had shiny finger since around that time. 8 years ago similar issues started affecting only 3 of my toes on my left foot, didn’t think much of it, just part of the Raynauds. Also since around ages 13/14 I have had issues with my left knee, constant cracking but no pain.

Never had any other symptoms until this past year. Start of 2026 I got two blocked oil glands in quick succession in my left eye. From March to April I experienced a period of acid reflux and digestive issues. Did 6 blood tests with my gp, they all came back normal but was told there was evidence of an infection that was settling down. Since April my digestion has returned to normal.

The past two or so months however, I am experiencing more discomfort in my left knee and hip. A sort of numbness, not even pain.

Been visiting my gp over the past number of months. Seen two doctors and they have both told me not to panic as many people with lifelong primary Raynauds experience skin thickening and tightening due to prolonged exposure and the stability of my symptoms over the years is a positive sign. Both relaying to me to remember that non of these symptoms are entirely new.

They also said would be unusual for digestive issues to go away, and eye condition to resolve.

Was told systemic scleroderma usually affects joint’s symmetrically, so wouldn’t be typical to just affect left side and not right. Points to maybe a structural issue.

I am just worried to why these things are worsening all within the same year? Both doctors still believe it’s more likely primary. Especially with my families genetics and history of Raynauds.

Anyway, we did an ANA test 2 weeks ago. Doctor said they would be in touch regardless of result. Have got a 5 minute telephone appointment next Tuesday to discuss results. The uncertainty is getting to me, just looking for general advice? Everyone is saying to just carry on as normal but I’m also like should I be mentally prepping myself for bad news.

“Non urgent, routine” appointment after ANA. Is this standard?

Have had what was believed to be primary Raynaud‘s since childhood. A few relatives have had it.

This past winter symptoms seem to be worse than previous years and I finally got an appointment with my gp back in March. After going through my symptoms it was still believed to be genetic and primary. Was told to monitor it going out of winter into the summer months. Just over a month ago I called back in and asked for a follow up as symptoms remained. They decided to trial me on Nifedipine for a month and booked me in for an ANA test.

Had the test over a week ago and was told I would hear back within 5 days, but didn‘t. I know a few people who work in healthcare and they said that is a good sign as most people are contacted within 48 hours if something is off. If I didn’t hear then things were normal. Was starting to think this was the case.

Anyway, this morning I woke up to a text asking me to phone in and schedule a ”non urgent, routine” telephone appointment with my doctor to discuss results. First appointment is in 2 weeks, so just curious about what this indicates. Is it less serious if it’s over the phone and not in person? Also with the long wait too. .

He did previously say he’d follow up with me after the month of nifediphine as well. The uncertainty is getting to me.

What’s decent etiquette for ending a chat which has been ongoing for a number of days and advanced to voice messaging? Girl seems really into it

So, never used dating apps before in my life. Am 26M and have had two long term relationships with girls I met in person. Last relationship of two and half years ended last year.

Started on Hinge a month ago and have been getting a decent amount of matches. Have been chatting to this girl (23F) for the last 5 days who is totally my type. Chat started good from my pov. Got into it about a band we’re both fans of. However, since then have struggled to find anything more in common and the overall vibe doesn’t seem right on my end. Despite her being my ideal type in terms of appearance, the personalities don’t seem to mesh imo.

We‘ve chatted about each other lives and stuff and the girl seems really into it. She started hearting everything, sending voice notes and talking about date ideas. It feels nasty not to reply so I keep answering her and not asking anything back, but she keeps following up with another question.

Also, she doesn’t seem to have things together. Just quit her job last month with nothing lined up, still living with her parents, and can’t drive. Not judging, just would be nice to have one of those things down.

At the point where I might just have to leave her hanging, but she seems really sweet and nice so I’d feel bad. Have asked my irl friends and they’ve told me not to do that and are telling me I’m mad cause the girl is stunning.

So, what’s the etiquette here as conversation has lasted a while and been voice messaging back and forth?
