Two people climbed the Empire State Building antenna this week... wondering if there are still active VHF or UHF TV antennas at the top or have they all moved to One World Trade Center? They went past the FM master antenna and continued climbing to the very top. Crazy

Currently using a Heltec V4 in the attic as a repeater and I seem to get out into the larger mesh around me most times... the attic repeater shows 4.25dB, 0dB, and -5dB to the three nearby repeaters. I have a Seeed Studio SenseCAP Solar Node P1-Pro on the way to see if I can get into the mesh with more consistency. Planning to mount it to my deck or a tree in the front yard.
When choosing between a couple locations, does it make sense to mount it at one, then check the signal readings to other repeaters under manage repeater, "neighbors, view zero hop neighbors?" and then move it to see if one location is significantly better?
Any suggestions on how else to measure what would be the best location?
