Argentina honeymoon

Hello

My partner and I are planning on Argentina (and a bit of Chile) for our honeymoon in March next year. We will have almost three weeks. At the moment we are planning on sticking to a more limited area and not flying down south as we want to minimise the amount of time in airports and balance out the exploring with some relaxing as well as will be knackered after the wedding. We are particularly interested in the wine area as well as some city exploring. Basically I want to eat steak, drink wine, and just absorb being there for three weeks.

This is my vague plan at the moment. Are there any bits that aren’t worth it, or any obvious easy to add places?

Day 1-4 Buenos Aires (then 4 hour ish bus to)
Day 5-6 Rosario (then 4 hour ish bus to)
Day 7-8 Cordoba (then fly to)
Day 9-12 Salta / Cafayate area (then fly to)*
Day 13-18 Mendoza vineyards (then probably fly, maybe drive)
Day 19-21 Santiago / Valparaiso

*or hire a car and make this bit into a road trip down to Mendoza over a few days as it looks beautiful

I think I probably need to shave off one or two days to account for travel time from the uk. Now I’m looking at it, I also wonder whether doing it reverse would also be more relaxing, starting with the bit with less moving around.

Any thoughts or advice would be super welcome!

Dress shopping when bigger than sample sizes

I’m struggling to work out how you are supposed to shop for dresses when you are more than a size 8 or 10. I have appointments booked for Saturday, and one of the shops has said that out of 14 dresses I selected, they only have 4 in stock and only one at a size 14 and this is apparently completely normal. I don’t know how I’m supposed to try anything on if all shops have to try on are sample sizes. I’m not dragging my mum and friend round to watch me be humiliated that I can’t get any dresses over my knees, let alone spending thousands of pounds on something I can’t see.

I’m in London and don’t have a particularly tight budget, where am I supposed to go to actually try something on without being humiliated?

Edit: I’ve looked at various plus size shops but they don’t have the type of dress I want. I don’t want big and floaty, I want structured and form fitting (and ideally lace). The problem with structured is that if the sample size won’t go over my bum there’s not really a lot that can be done with pinning and being clever.

To preface by saying that I’m terrible at making decisions and trusting my own judgement. Wedding planning is not going well on any level.

I’m in the process of agreeing what I want for my engagement ring (I have a temporary one for now) and I thought I was all set on a straightforward emerald cut trilogy. Then I tried on some teal sapphires for fun - error. They were so beautiful and I am considering having them as side stones. However I get worried that if I don’t have something very classic, I am more likely to regret it in a few years, or it will feel dated etc, and maybe I should have a ring with that stone for a different purpose in the future.

Has anyone had this type of worry or regret? Does anyone still love their riskier choice ten years later?

I did an AI generated image to show what I mean - it would be a lot smaller if I had it. Second image is what I assumed I would be getting until I was an experimental idiot on Saturday.
