I’ve been working on a range of FDM-friendly trench warfare terrain for grimdark tabletop wargames.

These pieces are my own 3D designs, printed and painted by me. The goal was to create terrain that works well on the table: line-of-sight blocking ruins, narrative objectives, battlefield wrecks and scatter pieces that can help build a dense trench warfare board.

A Kickstarter for FDM-friendly grimdark trench terrain STLs, with ruins, wrecks and battlefield scatter.

I’ve been working on some trench warfare terrain for grimdark tabletop games, and these are a few of my finished pieces.

They are my own 3D designs, printed and painted by me. The goal was to create terrain that works both as line-of-sight blocking scenery and as narrative objectives on the table, while keeping the files practical for FDM printing.

I’m pretty happy with how they look on a ruined trench battlefield.

Full disclosure: these pieces are part of my current project on kickstarter, Trench Wasteland: Reinforcements. I mainly wanted to share the finished terrain shots here and hear what other terrain builders think.

What kind of terrain would you like to see more of in Trench Crusade?

I printed and painted a few of my own terrain pieces in PLA/FDM and, totally by accident, they started giving me strong Steel Necropolis vibes.

There are three vehicles, some battlefield debris, and a closer view of the ruined church. They were not designed specifically for that story, but the mix of dead armour, religious ruins and mud-soaked battlefield scenery feels like it could belong there.

Everything is my own work and fully FDM-friendly.

I wanted to share one of the scenery pieces from my current Kickstarter campaign, **Trench Wasteland: Reinforcements**: the **Ruined Church**.

It is designed as a grimdark battlefield centerpiece for trench warfare tables, with broken walls, a damaged interior, and different tower options so it can be used in several configurations.

I have included some painted photos, render previews, and a short video so you can see the piece better.

The campaign is live now on Kickstarter and also includes other ruined scenery pieces for trench battlefield gaming tables.
