Got a JCB merchant master tele truck. How much would replacing the 4 x boom hoses cost, roughly? They are the ones that travel inside the boom and go to tilt function. I’m in the UK.

Any uk hose guys here?

Trying to gauge what the average rate is for a hose van is for call out, 1 hr labour and let’s say a basic 1 mtr 3/8 hose with bspp fittings.

I know it varies depending area etc but a rough price would be great.

Cheers.

Pricing Hose and Fittings to customers. How do you do it?

Right guys, slowly entering the family business. They’ve been running the company with some success but don’t have any sort of basic pricing structure. Everything is kind of random.

There is thousands of different types of fittings and hose. How can you know what prices should things be? I’m really struggling with this. For example price per meter has to go down on hoses but to what extent?

Also, if I 3x a basic fittings that cost a few dollars how can I 3x a very expensive fittings to same level. The customer would never accept that.

Appreciate any views on this.
