Hey everyone! Just wanted to share a flat lay collection I put together for the upcoming mid-season. I've been really into the whole "sleeve mixing" and distressed vintage vibe lately.

Kept the color palette pretty muted with lots of greys, blacks, and faded denim to let the graphics and textures do the talking.

Fit Breakdown:

Look 1: Fleetwood Mac distressed tee w/ camo undersleeves ➕ Dark washed pleated pants ➕ Puma Palermo (Brown/Suede).

Look 2: Black henley tee w/ graphic print ➕ Grey washed cargo pants w/ raw hem & zippers ➕ Adidas Samba (Black/Snake).

Look 3: Black zip-up tee w/ Baroque script graphics ➕ Two-tone contrast pocket denim ➕ Adidas Gazelle (Grey/Suede).

Look 4: Grey raglan tee w/ leopard print sleeves & big tongue graphic ➕ Dark grey nylon cargos ➕ Puma Speedcat (Black/Silver).

Look 5: Striped raglan tee (black/white) w/ graphic print ➕ Blue faded straight denim ➕ Fila original fitness (Black/White).

I feel like the mix of aggressive graphics, subtle textures (camo, leopard, contrast stitching), and classic sneaker silhouettes really makes these outfits pop without being too loud.

What do you guys think about the "mismatched sleeves" trend? Yay or nay?

Shoes: Puma Palermo / Adidas Samba / Adidas Gazelle / Puma Speedcat / Fila Original Fitness.

Do panels even make sense if nobody's home during the day?

Both work full time. Out by half 7, back around 6. Daytime it's the fridge and the router, that's about it.

All the real usage is after 6. Cooking, washing machine, telly, laptops. Sun's gone by then.

Everyone says panels save £150-250 a year, which yeah, sounds about right for the fridge and standby. Long payback though.

We're on Octopus Go, 8.5p overnight 30.1p day. Been wondering if adding a battery changes things or if it's just more money into something that doesn't fit our schedule.

My summer sneaker rotation has basically been decided 👟

I was organizing my closet the other day and realized these three pairs have been getting worn the most this summer.

I’ve always liked the retro runner style — something about the old-school shapes and slightly vintage feel just works really well with everyday outfits.

1. Rust Brown

This one has a really nice worn-in feeling. The reddish brown mesh with darker details gives it a bit of a vintage vibe, and the small silver accents keep it from looking too heavy.

I usually wear this one with denim or darker pants.

2. Cream & Silver

Probably the easiest one to match.

The cream upper and silver details give it a clean, relaxed look. It works really well with shorts, light jeans, or simple summer outfits.

3. Cool Grey

This is probably the pair I reach for the most.

The grey and off-white tones are simple but still have enough detail to make the silhouette interesting. It has that low-key retro runner feeling without being too loud.

After wearing them for a while, I think what I like most is how easy they are for daily use — lightweight, breathable, and comfortable enough for walking around all day.

Funny how every summer I tell myself I need new shoes, then end up wearing the same few pairs on repeat 😂

Anyone else have a pair that basically becomes their “summer uniform”?

[WDYWT] Been wearing way more black lately... no complaints 🖤

Didn't mean to put together an all-black fit, but it kinda just happened.

I've been leaning into darker stuff recently, and this combo has been in heavy rotation. The graphic long sleeve does most of the talking, so I kept everything else pretty simple—a pair of washed black wide-leg jeans, black Shox, a beanie, and some chunky black frames.

Threw on an old leather bag and my wired earbuds too. I know wireless is easier, but wired headphones just fit the vibe for some reason.

Nothing too crazy, just one of those outfits that feels easy to throw on but still looks put together.

Curious what you guys think. Would you wear it as-is, or swap out anything?

moved in with my girlfriend and had our first dumb argument

It was about outlets.

We each have one outlet on our side of the bed. Her side was already full with her phone charger, watch charger, and a little night light she can't sleep without. My side had a charger for my phone and another one for my Kindle.

She bought a lavender diffuser last week and wanted to plug it in on my side. I told her there wasn't any room. She asked why I needed two chargers when one could probably do the job. I shrugged it off because I hadn't really thought about it.

Later that night I remembered I already had a multi-port charger sitting in my work bag that I'd completely forgotten about.

Now my phone, Kindle, and earbuds all charge from one charger, the diffuser has its own outlet, and our bedroom smells like lavender every night. I didn't expect that tiny change to make the room feel so much calmer, and I've actually been sleeping better.

It also made me realize that a lot of the little arguments you have when you first move in together aren't really about the thing you're arguing about. Sometimes it's just two people figuring out how to share a space. She was right this time.

I'm just not going to tell her that.

Where My Money Goes: Small Everyday Upgrades for Work and Summer

Picked up a few things recently and thought I’d share them here.

The navy cable-knit polo has been easy to wear with dark jeans and simple sneakers. It works for casual office days, dinner, or just running errands.

I also added a slim card holder and a few new basic underwear pieces in neutral colors. Nothing major, but they have been practical additions to my daily rotation.

Trying to keep my wardrobe simple this summer: comfortable tops, dark denim, easy shoes, and small accessories that go with everything.

What have you picked up recently that you’ve been wearing a lot?

Are striped knit polos the easiest summer upgrade?

I've been trying to keep summer outfits simple, but regular tees can start to feel a little repetitive.

A lightweight striped knit polo seems like an easy middle ground: still breathable and casual, but the collar and texture make the outfit feel a bit more put together.

I've mostly been pairing one with plain trousers or relaxed denim and keeping everything else simple.

Do you wear knit polos in summer, or do you find them too warm?

How do you manage EP with twins

Twins are 4 months, I EP for both, which means double the supply needs and negative free time. I pump 7x a day while two babies need things constantly.

The reason this works is hands free pumping. I'm on eufy S2 Pro here in Canada and I pump while doing tandem bottle feeds, while wearing one in a carrier, while refereeing tummy time. The charging case lasting most of a week matters because I genuinely don't have a spare brain cell for remembering to charge things.

Twin EP parents, what are your survival hacks?

Summer Outfits I've Been Wearing Lately

Now that the weather's warming up, I've been gravitating toward lighter fabrics, relaxed silhouettes, and outfits that feel comfortable without looking sloppy.

Here are three combinations I've been enjoying recently:

Look 1
Grey knit top + beige striped trousers.

Probably the most polished outfit of the three. Added a cap, scarf, leather belt, and loafers to bring a bit more texture and contrast. The earthy leather tones tie everything together nicely.

Look 2
Brown polo + blue denim.

A simple combination that always works. Layered over a white tee for a little extra depth and paired with woven accessories for a more relaxed, vacation-inspired feel.

Look 3
Brown shirt + khaki wide-leg trousers.

Maybe the easiest outfit here. A lightweight shirt over a white tee is one of those combinations I keep coming back to every summer. Comfortable, versatile, and hard to get wrong.

Lately I've found myself caring less about logos and trends, and more about fabric, fit, and how clothes actually feel to wear. Relaxed tailoring, natural colors, and breathable materials tend to be what I reach for most.

Which look would you choose?

Quick LC Guide: Yoga Off-Duty Cap (R vs F) - Sand Dune

Here is a quick 30-second Legit Check (LC) guide for the Yoga Off-Duty Cap to save you some time and money.

1.Embroidery (See Pic 4)

Retail: High-density 3D embroidery. Most importantly, the letter "l" must align perfectly with the center seam line of the cap.

Fake: The text looks flat, and the alignment is often noticeably off-center.

2.Color (See Pic 1 & 2)

Retail: The "Sand" color is very unique, muted, and neutral.

Fake: Current market batches usually fail to replicate this exact shade, often looking way too yellowish.

3.Stitching on Brim (See Pic 5)

Retail: There are exactly three rows of stitching on the brim, and they are flawlessly parallel to each other.

Fake: Stitching can be sloppy, unevenly spaced, or wavy.

4.Interior Lining (See Pic 7 & 8)

Retail: The inner sweatband features a specific Alo logo repeating pattern. Pay close attention to font spacing, font weight, and overall print clarity.

Detailed pics attached. Hope this helps u!
