Don’t know how this will go over in this sub, or if it will be removed for using the wrong flair. Looking for a concealed carry licensing class. Longtime firearm owner coming from a state up north which did not require licensing to conceal. Not really looking to conceal carry while traversing the city by foot, but I do a lot of night time travel and everything I’ve read, the way I’d have to transport my handgun in my car legally, without a license, would defeat the purpose of carrying one anyways.

Looking for a 1 day class if that exists. I have seen many with 2 sessions over 2 days. I’d rather do 1 long one.

My girlfriend of 2.5 years just left for dinner with her friends, and I’m coming clean when she gets home. I make $128,000, and I have $0 in my checking/savings, and $7000 in credit card debt. She makes a third of what I do, and has saved $20k. This morning I had $3000 in cc debt, and I just blew it up today for no reason. I’m a compulsive gambling addict. I gamble to feel something. I’ve cried to her multiple times the past few months, but always blame general depression and anxiety. She loves me so much, and I love her so much. It’s time I’m honest to her about my situation. God I hope she does not leave me, she is the greatest thing to ever happen to me.

Hey all - 5 years of experience in tech adjacent finance/wealth PdM role. Recently been applying for new opportunities, and got through recruiter screening at a top 3 institution. Recruiter called to schedule panel/double hiring manager call, and gave me times for Wednesday (tomorrow) at 2:30. I asked for Thursday and only available was 4:30-5. I took 4:30-5 on Thursday. It hits me now that Friday is holiday, and I likely have the last time slot before the long weekend. Does it matter?

Recruiter last week, different one than who called me today, told me they were interviewing this week for the senior role, and next week for the director. Which also supports my last time slot interview spot. Are the two hiring managers going to be burnt out from listening to pitches, or will I be top of mind going into their decisioning? I’ve interviewed here before, and there’s typically 3 rounds total.

Should I email recruiter and request to move to the tomorrow slot and get preparing?
