I main Toplane (trundle/kayn), and in a ranked game i lost, i got told by a smurf that i dont know how to proxy and should never play proxy champs ever again so im just seeking help on how do i do so..

i usualy proxy matchups i refuse to play, heimer, vayne, teemo, urgot, illaoi etc. anything that can win lvl1 and be super duper annoying to keep my sanity for the rest of the game - with that said, on bottom side i check their jg, because i can 1v1 them on my champs (most of the time), or on top side i get first wave and then i check on the camps like blue, if their not there i get like another 2 waves and recall get like a sword or something and go back, now is where the problems begin (i think)

When i get back to lane, either the wave is arriving with me and i dont feel i can farm it WITHOUT losing half hp and get there in time to proxy the next wave or i just miss the wave and go insta proxy thru the jg,

If i cannot contest the wave without losing half my hp is it even worth it? should i miss 1 wave in order to get 2 potentially later on? I also try to check map more often to see if their jg is bot. but most of the time i get ganked and go like 0/5

How do i keep track of their jg and When do i settle for exp and sit under turret?

rank climb is going well (silver 2 58% wr) and first penta ever and on kayn! they lined up very nicely for me and i got to tear thru them all!
(for those wondering i go axiom -> plated's -> seryldas -> endless hunger -> maw -> DD)

Im silver 4 0lp on a big loss streak and enemy team just keeps on perma ganking top, i understand thats not THAT bad if it happens while drake is up but most of the time my junglers do nothing with that. Also i often overstep and get heavily punished for it, is there anything to actually do to look less appealing to enemy jungle/supports im trying to improve my wave control but thats not going that good right now.

mid laners usually dont gank top but in my recent games jg very focused on top and supports roam a little bit to toplane, i dont understand why this happens so much was there a change that encourages junglers to gank top?

also if anyone has tips to like actually focus on the game i keep on spacing out thinking about stuff like what im gonna make or anything random i just cant focus on the game properly (some focus music or something like that i just need tips and tricks)
