i’ve been trying to land a heel flip for like couple weeks now but they just never pan upright is this because i’m not popping it that high?

I've been playing bedrock for like forever and I switched to java and I'm just so bad at pvp genuinely what am I doing wrong

i’m playing on enchanced gta on pc if that changes anything

tried to learn how to heel flip today spent like an hour but i keep flipping it and it just lands on the board
