LF Reylo Fic suggestions

I remember reading a fic before where Ben was Rey's older brother's best friend (Poe) and she asked him to teach him how to kiss her. I liked it because I rarely got to see an innocent, naive Rey being portrayed. I also liked it because it was realistic. More often than not, I see fics where one or both of the characters are experts at kissing despite not having kissed anyone before. Rey really had no idea how to kiss and Ben had to teach her step by step.

I'm looking for more fics similar to that. Drop your suggestions please!

THFBS better happen now Disney

Or Adam and Daisy would be too old to play their characters if you delay the production even further

Things im grieving for in the sequel

I have decided to fully embrace the grief I ignored in 2019 and fully dive in this 2026 😆 I know this is a Reylo thread but I would love to process this discussion with everyone because I believe that the dynamics around reylo still affected the dynamics of the actual couple.

Is anyone as hung up as I am about the writing? This might be a sensitive discussion, but I would love to talk more about what I felt was missing in the entire sequel.

-i felt like Finn's arc was unexplored or wasn't maximized. Now, Im a TLJ-apologist (because RJ could only work on the parameters he was given) and would continue to be so but one of my gripes about it was how Finn's arc wasnt fully fleshed out and was thrown away for a Canto Bight sequence with Rose.

-I would have loved to see more of the conflict/friction between Poe, Finn, and Rey despite being friends. TLJ already set up their flaws and it was continued in TRoS but the second and last act was wrapped up in a hurry and all their built up conflict was resolved with the power of friendship. I especially would have loved the idea of Poe being wary about the Jedi mind tricks being used on them explored more.

-Poe being a reckless leader! It was completely unaddressed, even in the book! It was acknowledged, yes, but without any real conclusion.

-Movie would have worked without Palpatine. It was already set up that Hux would have loved mutiny against Kylo and would do anything, even team up with the detested Resistance, just to see him lose. Hux wasn't above using Rey as leverage so irdk why JJ did not go that route (The TRoS novel acknowledged that Hux knew Kylo's soft spot for Rey). Apart from that, it would also have been interesting to see Rey trying to hide her force bond with Kylo from the Resistance because of the conflict that would ensue. Especially since the force bond could be used to track the Resistance's location.

-KoR as actual, fully realized characters and not just tools.

-Overall, I felt robbed that we weren't given rich characters and instead the whole saga was just about them going from plot A to plot B. Hated the prequels may be but unc George had them all planned out since day 1 so there was heart and passion poured into it.

I disappeared from the fan base after 2019 because of obvious reasons but nostalgia kicked in recently and I rewatched the sequel. Is anyone as hung up as I am about the writing? This might be a sensitive discussion, but I would love to talk more about what I felt was missing in the entire sequel.

Someone fill me in on Reylo

I've been MIA in the fandom since the 2019 TRoS disaster. I was so heartbroken I refused to have anything more to do with the fan base. But nostalgia kicked in and decided a rewatch and the grief relapsed and I'm back here again in this sub
