am i kinda cooked for o levels??

I've gotten pretty good grades from sec 1 till now (mostly As, with some Bs and Cs). My L1R5 this year term 1 was 7 and term 2 was 8. Over the june holidays i planned to study and start revising, but i ended up procrastinating ALOT and all i did was complete my holiday hw without extra studying.. Sem 2 started and I still haven't really gotten the motivation to actually start studying, like i lowk need a study schedule to follow cus everyday aft sch i get home and idk what to start studying then at the end of the day i nvr study. Alot of my friends assure me that I'll be fine and ik i'll eventually spend lots of hours studying but i still can't help but feel worried.. Did anyone start studying quite late and still got rlly good results like l1r5 below 10)?

worried for english oral..

my o level oral is in 2 weeks and i'm lowkey really worried.. In lower sec I always scored B4 for oral, only for sec 3 did I score an A1 for oral (i feel like the teacher was maybe lenient cus i myself don't think i did that good..) However for my prelim oral, it was right after my a math wa2 so i feel like i wasn't in the right mind to do my oral and honestly felt like getting it over as soon as possible. But that was one of the biggest regrets of mine. I ended up getting a C5 which made me feel really disappointed in myself. I couldn't properly think during the 10 min prep and wrote very little on my paper (i'm the typa person who is only able to read off full sentences to be able to structure my sentences properly, if i write point form then it ends up all over the place..). I also wasn't speaking very clearly as I spoke quite fast (ig i was rlly nervous or smth).

Anyway my plan for the next 2 weeks is:
-practice planning in 10 minutes and speaking in 2 minutes (for planned response)

-practice alot of spoken interaction qns

-maybe read up on different topics so i can find examples i can use (pls rec)

Anyone have any advice, or even words of encouragement are appreciated too! I really want to get an A2 or atleast a B3 for english o levels 😭

(update) eae 2026

its been less than 24 hrs but i've decided that i'm only interested in chem eng 😓

So i have 2 choices im considering which is ChE in SP or ChE in TP. I went to both TP and SP open houses earlier in the year and the ChE in both polys interest me. The only thing is:

  1. TP is slightly further and less convenient to commute to for me than SP

  2. I believe SP is more well known for its science courses idk, let me know your thoughts

  3. If i end up getting an offer from TP instead of SP, i may or may not reject the offer because ultimately i still prefer SP

So should I risk it and put only 1 choice (ChE in SP)? Or should I put both to be safer

Any insights and tips would be helpful and much appreciated! Again would love any tips from ChE students for portfolio and interview

eae 2026

I'm still currently planning my write ups for eae, and i plan to apply for chemical and biological engineering at SP

I'm abit scared to only apply for one course, and i've mostly only done research on chem eng. I'm considering applied chemistry at SP as well as it seems to align with my interests in research and experiments

I didn't get to ask about applied chem during SP open house this year so some questions I have are:

  1. Is there mainly only chemistry? Is there any physics or bio? I don't take bio so if there is, is there a lot of it?
  2. Students specialising in industrial chem, can you tell me more about your experiences in that specialisation?
  3. For graduates from this course, what did you do aft graduating? What did you do in uni? What jobs did you take on?

Students and graduates from both courses at SP, please do offer any tips and insights u might have!! And any advices for portfolio and interviews are much appreciated!!
