I’m trying to do the aurora mod on my 360 but no matter how many different tutorials I do it doesn’t seem to work and i don’t think i have a device ban

Hey I was just wondering and see if anyone could tell me. I tried to mod my Xbox 360. Instead of using a usb I have a hard drive off a phat Xbox and I have an adapter that connects it to the Xbox via usb, I download everything from a tutorial I saw and got it all right. But when I plugged it into my Xbox the logo went red. But then I took it out and it’s perfectly fine now but I wanna mod it with aurora and have the games. Anyone know how to help?
