Second thoughts on moving from full remote to hybrid work setup

I just accepted a job offer as an SAP Consultant for 220k/month (a 55% increase from my current 142k salary) with much better benefits.

During the interview, I was told the RTO policy is only 1x a week at Makati but they mentioned it could increase to 2x a week but not until they moved to their new BGC office in Q4. However, a former colleague just informed me that the 2x a week policy will actually start this June.

I’m writing this since I'm having second thoughts. I’ve been fully remote for 6 years and decided I’d only move for a maximum of 1x a week RTO. I have a 3 yr old son at home and I really don't want to sacrifice family time if it isn't worth it.

I hope other people who transitioned from a full remote to a hybrid work setup, especially parents, can share their experiences regarding whether the pay bump was worth the commute and the time away from home.

Full remote to hybrid (2x/wk) work for a 55% pay increase. Is it worth it?

Problem/Goal: Job offer with 55% pay increase but need to switch from full remote to hybrid (2x/wk) work setup

Context: I just accepted an offer as an SAP Consultant for 220k/month (a 55% increase from my current 142k salary) with much better benefits.

During the interview, I was told the RTO policy is only 1x a week at Makati but they mentioned it could increase to 2x a week but not until they moved to their new BGC office in Q4. However, a former colleague just informed me that the 2x a week policy will actually start this June.

I have a 3 yr old son at home and I really don't want to sacrifice family time if it isn't worth it. We live in Bulacan and the travel time to office is probably around 2-3 hrs depending on traffic.

I hope other people who transitioned from a fully remote to a hybrid work setup, especially parents, can share their experiences regarding whether the pay bump was worth the commute and the time away from home.

EDIT: Added information on where I live and the approximate travel time
