Autumn themed pfp icons ^-^

Hi!! I've been doing a lot of artwork with autumn color palettes/aesthetic, among them, some Hollow Knight/RainWorld icons that look pretty cute ngl. (My favourite is the orange toothy Shaw)

You can use them if you want, i dont mind it. (Already got jumpscared by 3 people)

However if you would like one with a different HK character or your Oc, im also offering these as cheap commissions. But i don't wanna do a whole lot of self promo in an art subreddit so if you want the details, DM me here or discord ("maidtificer")

Test: photographing Bilewaters creatures with video editor.

I want to remake the Mod's ModDB page with some updated and highter quality images.. so what im doing is take small videos, put them in an editor and export individual frames to capture the creatures in very precise poses/momments..

its looking great so far, ill try photographing Wyrms and some of the rarer creatures today if i have time.

Art community is only for human character art?

As a animal artist, I am struggling to monetize my work in any way possible because everything is optimized for artists who draw human/furry characters which.. i guess it makes sense when, for example, most art commissions feature these two subjects.

But when you don't like the most abundant subject in the art community, everything goes against you. And to make matters worse, the fact that I have an unhealthy obsession with drawing >!Hollow Knight characters as feral reptiles!< and all my art revolves around this very specific subject also goes against me because i can't tolerate drawing or even looking at anything else such as other games or animals that aren't scaly. I even struggle to interact with other artists in the sense that i can't empathize with their work, even if the subject is the same game.

Do I have to draw humanoid characters to get somewhere monetization-wise?? Do i have to be a character artist? Or how do i draw something different with this extremely rigid mentality?

Yeah i know i covered two topics here but i have to spit this out somewhere.

Colorful guys! (Am I the Only one who preffers Low Poly?)

Am I the only one who really preffers low poly over modern hight poly models with PBR textures and all that stuff? I have been using Blender for 2 - 3 years now and I recently graduated as a concept artist. In which, yes, I learnt pretty much everything one needs to know about 3D modeling these days.

However, even after the 10 months of working with the more "AAA" Stuff, i find myself always comming back to this specific style.

These guys are all under the 2k triangles, 256 x 256 textures and no shaders. They have a charm im not sure how to put into words but everyday i want to make more of them.

However im also wondering, where can you get a job/commissions as a "creature only" artist with this very specific style, its something that worries me a bit and i can't help but mention it here in case someone could tell me something helpful about this.

Anyways thanks for reading, its my first post in this community so im not sure what to expect.

My first carnivores mod!1!

This is just a small recording of me working on the next update of "Carnivores bilewaters" (a.k.a Sekker's Bilewaters), and yes, jokes aside this is truly my first Carnivores mod i have been working on for 7 months now.

Some of you may already know me for my Youtube content, others dont, thats okay.

I made this reddit account to join Art commission related groups, but i just wanted to make a random shitpost here as my first reddit upload.

That aside, if you've never seen this before, what do you think? A little too different?
