Hi everyone! I want to start my own podcast, I’ve been so scared but I am finally ready! However I have a slight problem, I don’t know which language to pick. My native tongue is Dutch, however my English is really comfortable to me too.

I think I would be able to reach more people by speaking English, however there is a lot of competition.
In the Dutch market there are not many podcasts that are made.

I would love to reach a lot of people but to be honest I am so afraid of being embarrassed by speaking a different language than my native tongue. On the other side I am afraid that the podcast will flop.

What do you guys think I should do? Should I play safe and go Dutch? Or take the risk and go English?
