Mid delivery 1/3 complete. Refund? Go home?

I’m 1/3rd of the way done with this order. Do I just go home and keep these groceries aka “dispose or donate them to a charity” or do I need to just wait an hour until they fix it. I know the limits typically like $50 for items and you don’t need to return but I have some non perishables that make it over that threshold. I would also actually use some of the meats and food for tomorrow that are perishable. I can’t see the address because it’s an apartment.

Are some people just oblivious?

66 cases of water. Guarantee they probably don’t even help. Like who even has the capacity in a car to carry 66 cases. I don’t even know if most vehicles in general could even carry that weight alone.

Guess the tip/ Instacart error?

Anyone want to guess which customer ordered a blender and which customer ordered $800 in groceries?
(I’m really hoping she’s just going to tip after because when I delivered it she was nice but if not that’s gotta just be INSANE). Shoutout customer B though. Unless if Instacart just confused the order numbers. Either way no tip for 50+ miles and a 1 hour drive is crazy.

And yes I know it’s high miles for the pay but I had to go up north either way today so it was a win win.

Random 1 stars- free groceries?

I wish Instacart added a feature so we knew who and why someone gave us 1 stars. I have yet to see a tip decrease, so it’s either someone who didn’t tip well so I didn’t notice or they’re just trying to get free groceries. Also in general a 1 star to me is if I spat in your food or stepped on something or delivered to the wrong address. Even if it was something like a unrequested refund or poor replacement, that doesn’t make someone deserving of a 1 star. If you want someone to improve you have to let them know what they are doing wrong because 97+ other people think otherwise.

Most Earnings on 1 batch

Just curious what everyone’s most earned from a single batch is? This can also include value of items from returns you got to keep, tips, etc

Some rare but things I’ve experienced in 2 years:

I had like $400+ in meat products and random food products after a refund on 4th of July. The highest normal amount I’ve gotten from a batch was around $100 ($80 in tip). And the most cash I’ve made was $300 after a customer didn’t sign for a security camera that Costco didn’t want to refund so I got paid for the trip to the house, the refund trip to Costco and then sold the item for $250 on eBay within an hour.

(I’ve also made like $100 from scanning receipts which is always nice, idk how big that is compared to some more active shoppers)

Anyone have anything crazier?
