Where should I smoke?

I typically play initiator (KAY/O, Tejo) and sometimes controller or sentinel. My typical smoke as controller is usually heaven or door if the site has one. Otherwise I smoke common paths like rope and drop on Lotus A site. Is this the correct way to smoke or am I doing it wrong? I'm in iron-bronze lobbies.

Does this mean my mmr is high?

Context: Im in iron 2 right now, and ive been playing against bronzes and silvers. As you can see, every time a win I gain above 30rr and a loss only took away 6rr. Does this mean my mmr is high?

Why is this game so poorly optimized

I have an rtx 3060 ti and a ryzen 5600. I can usually get like 300 frames in valorant

What is the purpose of smoke grenade

Like in cs2 or valorant smokes are used to block line of sight, but that isn't really needed in a game like rivals. I know that smokes can put out fires, but that feels like a waste of utility

Guys read the body text

To be fair, the balancing of this game is kinda trash with the energy rifle and stuff like that. This game doesn't really feel like a game focused on gunplay, rather it feels like more of a novelty shooter if you know what I mean. I feel like Rivals is way more centered on movement rather than being a realistic shooter, thanks to barely noticeable bullet spread and recoil. Playing Rivals isn't about how many wins you have, what rank you are, or what win streak you have. Instead, it's about having fun. Now, in my opinion, I don't think using a see-through rifle spraying at the enemy's body is much fun. We should try out weapons that are actually appealing to use, use as the gun blade or the grenade launcher for example. If you truly need a competitive shooter, you should go play counter strike or valorant.

The requirements for competitive queue is getting out of hand.

Level 100 is such an insane requirement. Personally, I haven't played any other games with this high of a requirement. If the devs want to stop cheaters in ranked, they can develop better anticheat. The level requirement just makes new players have to play a few more extra hours just for the right to PLAY in competitive.
